"Ay, buddy, slow it down," Kyo ordered, "you're rushing off when I just wanna have a conversation." He stood up straight from his leaned-over position and stretched a little. He turned to face the other male, his grey eyes narrowed from behind his mask. He stepped closer to Miles slowly and began to remove his helmet, revealing a black cloth that hid his eyes. His black and blond locks fell to his shoulders and across his forehead with the removal of the headgear. Despite the seriousness of the situation, a relaxed smile sat on Kyo's face.
"And yes, while your name may not concern me, I still wish to know it," he bobbed his head and cracked his fingers absentmindedly. "Even if it be only your surname, won't you tell me something?" He looked down to wipe off the helmet that he held lightly, using the hem of his shirt. Promptly, he looked back up to the well-dressed man.
"Oh and," he continued, "just what in the world is up with your manner of speech? You sound like you're straight from a Shakespeare play. Who in the world calls someone a swimmer when they aren't actually such?" At the point, his voice had taken on a more mocking tone than curious one. His smile became slightly condescending. He walked up to meet the other on the edge of the rooftop, and looked down. He had always been afraid of heights, so the sight sent slight shivers down his spine. He stuttered slightly as he spoke, the fear beginning to present itself in Kyo's voice.
"M-my name is Kyo i-in case you d-don't know it." His words shook so much one could believe that he had felt cold instead of scared. He looked back to the victim of a beating that lay behind him, he sighed with the realization of the fact that he'd have to save that sucker from death's embrace. He whipped his head back to Miles with a smile on his face, it shook some, as he was still duly unnerved by their positioning on the roof.
"But now that ya know my name" he poked, "won't you tell me yours?"
