Coming to one that was, thankfully, nearby the front office, Jared put in the combination and started to put a few of his things into the narrow space. He rid himself of his backpack, instead, taking to pulling out his gym bag. It was going to be his first period. Glancing off to the side, Jared noticed a boy, whose locker was only one space away from being his neighbor. He did a little three-fingered wave at him before finally closing his locker and heading in the direction of the gym.
(what do you want to do? time skip?)
(Yeah, we can. But just to the end of the period :P)
(Okay. What should we do? Bc qxeen isn't here and I don't have many ideas rn lol)
(do you want me to do it this time so we have like, a solid setup for the next time we have a timeskip?)
(like, i can just do the time skip thing with my next thing)
(oh okay, that sounds good)
(basically just write it so it's already at the end of that period like this)
Huffing out a breath, skin slick with perspiration, Jared walked back to the locker room to clean himself up after the first period of his first day back to the hellish school. He quickly rid himself of the gym shorts and his soaked white t-shirt, his boxers, and shoes and socks. He stepped into the shower stall, washing away the sticky sweat from his skin and hair. He finished up as quickly as he could manage, drying his hair with a towel and getting back dressed into his day's clothes. Right then, the bell rang for them to leave.
(Okay. Any ideas for where my character could be/how he'll interact with yours?)
(they could bump into each other in the hall and end up in the same 2nd period or smth and then my character comes to class late and has to sit somewhere in yours' vicinity)
(sorry, I'm never on on weekends lmao)
Julian let out a breath of relief when the bell rang. Having math first period was the worst. He jumped out of his seat, somewhat excited to get to the next class. English wasn't exactly fun, but it was more interesting than math. He entered the hall, trying to weave through the sea of teenagers and get to class on time.
His hair still a bit damp from the recent shower, Jared rushed down the hall in a slight jog to make it to his next period. It was always a pain to get to the class after gym, everything just seemed to move either too slow or too fast. But, in his hurried state, the boy accidentally bumped into another student, nearly making them both either trip or drop something. Jared quickly stood upright, gripping the other's shoulders, as an instinct, to steady him as well, "'Ey, sorry, man."
Julian stumbled a bit when he ran into a guy in the hallway. He would've steadied himself and kept walking, but when the guy grabbed his shoulders, he was forced to look up at and speak rather than just completely avoid him, like he would've done.
That's the guy from earlier, he thought, recognizing his face. "Uh– it's cool. You're fine, that was my fault." His voice got quieter and nearly turned to a mumble as he spoke.
