Deep under the ground, somewhere near Brazil
There were many ruins around Earth. Ancient ones, some new, some old. Where this one fell in, was most likely ancient, however. Various pictographs marked the walls, and it was like a massive hallway, overgrown with vines. And it led to an open area, the light given off by the holes in the tall ceiling.
It was a beautiful place. Beautiful, until you saw the black chains, massive ones. They weren’t rusted. It wasn’t very hard to notice the large, dark, behemoth that leaned over, contained by the chains of the ruins. It had 4 chains for 4 arms, one for its neck, two for the torso, and smaller ones for its legs.
Supresis had been here for thousands of years. Imprisoned long ago, it grew impatient. Sometimes, Supresis lashed out again, causing a rumble like a volcanic one, scaring wildlife and people alike. But these chains were special, made to contain its kind.
Supresis had no visible eyes, but seemed to glance up all of the sudden. Something called to it. Something big. Or maybe, it was a call of dominance.
Supresis once ruled this world, for a few thousand years. Lips curling back to reveal powerful, pearly white canines, it couldn’t resist the temptation to jump up again, screeching but ending in a low pitched growl. An ear lifted at hearing a crack, before realizing that one of its chains had loosened.
Perhaps this was it.
The awakening was near.
