"I love you too" he wrapped his arms around the hellhound. "You were taking up the entire bed, one, and two, I feel safer in the corner than out in the open" he shrugged.
Naize curled tighter into Kai, whining a bit. The devil had left an imprint on her and it terrified her
Osiris laid his head in the crook of the demon's neck and closed his eyes. "Maybe I'm a bit too big to lay in a regular size bed. Do we need a huge doggie bed?" He joked. "Why do you feel safer in the corner? It's cold and boring. I get the shivers over here. Don't you get the shivers too?"
Devon leaned his head against Osiris', "Nothing can attack me from behind when I am in a corner, and I can see everything that could attack me…I might be a bit paranoid" he chuckled. He was honestly worried that Wrath or Lust or whomever would come back. He wasn't the smartest, and half the stuff he was told he already forgot or didn't know what it meant.
Kai nuzzled Naize lightly, trying to comfort her.
Osiris snuggled against Devon, giving him some warmth. “Nothing will attack you. I won’t let them. It’s not like I’ll get stabbed with a knife.” From the corner, a demon glared at the two, brandishing a knife. Osiris perked up, noticing something was off. The demon crept closer and stabbed Osie in the shoulder. The Hellhound howled and the demon glared at Devon. It disappeared. The knife was branded with words saying From your friend Lust. Osiris winced and whined. He clung to Devon, the blade sticking out of his shoulder. “I—I see why now..” He managed to croak.
(Plotted out by my best friend)
Naize appreciated the wolf's attempts but she needed air now.
Devon just sat there in shock for a moment, "See this is why I don't trust things…" he shook his head, gently taking the knife out of Osiris' shoulder, "Did I do something wrong? because I don't remember doing anything against this guy" he shook his head.
Osiris sharply howled at the pain. He didn’t like things being pulled out of him. “I don’t know either..maybe because you’re a rouge lust demon. Maybe because you’re scared of who you are.. greater demons don’t like those.” Anytime he moved the muscles in his shoulder, he yelped. “You didn’t do anything wrong. Greater demons are stingy creatures that hate just to hate.” Osiris closed his eyes and laid his head back in the crook of Devon’s neck.
Osiris cuddled closer to Devon, warming up the demon. He was Devon’s personal heater. He put his head under Devon’s arm, his nose against the boy's jaw. He had big sleepy puppy eyes, the ones that make you say awww. Osiris fell asleep in the demon’s arms

Bane smiled. “I always remember what you say. I like the sound of your voice. It’s better than the echoes of my father and his screaming.” He nuzzled against Lis, playing with the collar of her shirt. He grimaced at being injected with another needle. “You sure love sticking me with things…” He got up, his legs a little wobbly from injury, and pulled Lis up. He grabbed her hand and twirled her around. “Oh come on, you’re lovely when you’re red. It’s so cute!” It’s like a switch was flipped in his brain, or maybe he was being flirty with the girl he loved. Some could blame it from hitting his head. “Maybe I will. Then we could go inside to the cool air, and we can." He paused. "Cuddle.” He bent down and kissed her on the neck once more. He really makes you wonder how innocent he is.
Lis turns a little redder. "I- I'm happy that you remember my words."
She narrows her eyes. "I don't. You're just fond of getting injured."
She turns a lot redder, trying to hide her face. "I am not!"
"Yeah." she says, freezing when Bane pauses in his sentence. Is he even aware of what he's saying or doing when he starts on this sort of stuff?
Devon inspected the blade, "A rouge lust demon? Hardly. I am not scared of who I am, I am ashamed of it." he sighed, he had never been scared of what he is, ashamed, hated it, yes. But he wasn't afraid of it. He was afraid of the things he could do to people when he lost control.
Naize got up slowly, heading for the door. Her fur was poofed and on end
Bane twirled her around once more. His aunt was a little bit helpful in educating him when he was super young, but nothing too drastic. Just braiding hair and twirls. She didn’t get too far in with helping her nephew before she was killed. “I will never forget your words, Lis. They’re important to me just like you are.” He smiled, pulling her closer to him. He’s never letting go again, afraid Lis might slip away and disappear forever. Puppies don’t like to be left alone. “I am not fond of getting injured. I don’t have a choice most of the time. I have to fight for us.” Bane tilted her head so she’d look him in the eyes. “You are very Adorable when red. Don’t deny it, sweetie.” He was not aware half of the time he does something like this. But this time, he seemed a little more choosy about his words and what they might imply.

Osiris clung to Devon, softly whining from the shoulder pain. “That’s the word I was looking for. Ashamed. They don’t like that.” He lifted his head up only for it to drop back down on Devon’s shoulder. “They would rather you murder than preserve lives… and you’re doing the exact opposite.” Osiris didn’t want Devon to become the demon everyone hated, he loved him the way he was.
Devon kissed Osiris' head, "Yeah, well I am a pacifist anyway, I only act in self defense" He shrugged, "I am sorry about your arm, shoulder, thing…being stabbed..you know" he folded his wings around them, making a sort of wall from the outside world.
Osiris ran his fingers through Devon’s hair, fluffIng it up to his liking. “I like you that way. It makes for a better demon. Acting in only self-defense is okay.” He curled himself into a ball, laying in Devon’s lap. His shoulder wound was still bleeding, but healing. It was almost completely healed. “It’s alright, buttercup. Don't apologize for what those scum did. You have nothing to do with them.” Osiris felt safer when Devon folded his wing around them.
Devon smiled softly, "Thank you Osie, I am glad you like me for who I am" He fixed his hair back, which was still messy but less so.
(I am out for the weekend, be back monday!)
Osiris kisses Devon lightly. “Of course I’m going to like you the way you are. Why would I not? If you don’t like someone for who they are, then what kind of monster are you?” Osiris laid back in Devon’s lap but could help but think about the bobcat’s weird behavior. He felt like it was a sign something bad happened. He shook his head. Maybe someone will talk to that cat later. Or maybe that someone is me He wasn’t fond of Dev’s friends, the cat trusted him, so what was the harm? Osiris huffed when Dev fixed his hair. He liked it the way it was before.
"Why would you not? Because a lot of people hate what I am, so they don't like me for it, or they expect me to be something I am not" He shrugged. Dev smiled at Osiris, even though Osie was a few inches taller than Dev, he acted like a small child who wanted to be cuddled, which Devon did not mind one bit.
"Well, that is dumb." Osiris wrapped his arms around the demon's chest. "It's not like you could have controlled it. How could your sister be a different demon? Are you guys half-siblings?" He tiled his head. "What abilities do you have, I'm curious." He smiled bewitchingly. "I've never seen you do anything other than steal energy." He laid his head on Devon's shoulder, Osiris curling his legs up to his chest
(Boop for Kai)
"Yeah, but people like to judge others…Yes .. she is my half-sister, we have…had the same mom." he leaned his head against Osiris. "I don't have many abilities …And stealing energy is something I had to teach myself…at least the way I do it is…" he wasn't comfortable talking about what he could do, not even if he was just talking to himself.
Kai watched Naize, tilting his head curiously.
Osiris closed his eyes, having barely gotten any sleep. “I don’t like to judge others. It’s wrong. Especially someone like you. Who would call you a monster?” He growled in his throat to emulate a purr. “I knew there was something off about you two. Half human half-demon? Huh? Are you Lust’s son? That could bring a lot of discord between you two too.” He yawned. “That’s alright. The energy stealing is unique. You don’t have to talk about them if you don’t.”
Naize looked back at him, thinking he would follow
"I know you don't and I am really glad, I don't think we would get along if you judged others." Devon smiled softly. "yeah, I think thats why I can pass pretty well as a normal human, but I don't know if I am Lust's son or not, honestly my mother hates demons…she hated June…she was ok with me because well… I am not a threat, and I can pass as normal a lot easier than my sister" he shrugged, "thanks…I don't like to think about it…much less talk about it".
Kai got up and stretched, following Naize. He sniffed the air, listening closely, trying to figure out what had the cat thing worried.
