On December 8th, 2015, J.J. Holmes stepped onto a United Airlines plane, excited to visit Guam for a family vacation. Just over Hawaii, a bird struck engine 3 of the doomed airliner and it was sent out of control, eventually crashing into the Pacific Ocean. Almost everyone was killed on impact, and those that weren't perished after days of floating in the freezing waters. Except for one: J.J. The sixteen year old drifted on a piece of the airplane's wing for three days until reaching a small, forested island. There he stayed for 4 years, weathering hurricanes and living off of sea food. He was found during a military training drill and was brought to the mainland US.
Both of his parents had died in the crash, his grandparents passed long before he was born, and his aunts and uncles were so estranged he doubted they would even know who he was. So, he named the first person he would think of that might've been alive: his ex-girlfriend from high school.
Hello! I thought this up after watching Family Guy. So, I will be Mr. Holmes, and I will post a template once someone joins! andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s Rules apply, but dark themes and cursing is allowed. This will get pretty angsty, so that's a thing, too.
