Alex just nodded silently, his wolves now on high alert. Morro was the first to walk over and start sniffing Beau, growling softly as he did so. A warning to not move. Alex just continued working to help the wolves. "Isn't one supposed to get their guardian when they are born? I've gone through…18 years of abuse. Why are you showing up now?" (So a bit of back story and possibility as to why. His dad is a business man who cares a lot about Alex and actually respects him. Problem is, he is away a lot. And also cheating on his abusive wife. And…I won't release too much info but yeah. Don't tell Alex that tho.)
(Oop)
"Well, I dunno anything about that. Like I said, I'm not really supposed to even be here? Not an angel." He tapped the horns protruding from his forehead with one finger. "I also didn't read the paperwork. It's possible that you were assigned an angel when you were born and they got killed or something and some mix up made it a while until they actually realized they died. Then they'd have to go through the process of assigning you a new one, and I guess some angel has a similar name to me or something, I dunno. Something happened, I'm here, I don't know what to tell you."
(Isn't Alex only 16 tho?)
(every age is a suggestion. It can change from rp to rp, based on the characters. They have to grow up sometime anyways. 16 is just like the point in his story line most people walk in at. Evan wasn't 16 when we rped either) He shrugged as Morro curled up. "A random fun fact, in wild nature there is no alpha male. It only happens when the wolves are in captivity, in a state of confusion to create a state of order. Really all wolves are at the same respect and understanding of eachother. Morro has the most energy I suspect, which is why he is doing most of the work right now. And he's the oldest, along with the biggest." Suddenly, there was a loud yowling, a wild cat yowl. And Alex, yowled back. The yowling and growling got closer, as it soon turned into a call and response. I'm walked 2 wild cats, a cougar and a mountain lion, old and gangly. "Escaped circus animals. Circus comes back all the time wanting their creatures back, but I won't let them. This is where they belong."
Beau watched curiously as more animals entered the area. This kid is some kind of freak or something… this shit is crazy. He shook his head slightly and paused before sitting down in the grass. "Uh, yeah… whatever you say. I don't really know anything about earth animals. Never been much of my concern." He hummed softly to himself. "I guess that's probably more of an angel thing to like… you know… care about the human race. Is there someone I need to beat up or something? Since I'm your guardian now or whatever."
"I just got kicked out. For like, the third time this week…" He sat down and began to pet the lions. It sure was strange to see Alex like this. (He's just a twink dr. Doo little.)
(Oop)
"Interesting. Want me to kill your parents, or…?" Beau rested his head on the knuckles of one hand. "Then you could just live at the house alone or something. I'm real good at hiding bodies, and maybe you're a good liar, I dunno."
"I have anxiety, and no job or way of supporting myself currently, because I will be going to college. And people would notice, because we're in a small town where there has never been a murder." He sighed as he got out a small little camp fire cooker and started up the fire, then began to make soup.
"I mean you can say they went on a business trip or something." Beau rolled his eyes. "We're not gonna straight up say there was a murder. That would be stupid." He looked at the cooker curiously. "I dunno, I think I can help with smaller things too. Like, fire. I'm good at fire."
(no he can't Alex can't keep a secret to save his life) Alex shook his head as the sun began to set, and he laid out a sleeping bag and the likes. "If I could run away or something, I would."
"Well, who's stopping you?" Beau asked, sticking a blade of grass in his mouth. "You said you're eighteen or something, right? That's an adult. You can do whatever the hell you want. I mean, you've got your menagerie of wild animals apparently. I'm sure they can stick around. And I'm also here now."
"I don't have a job, and what would happen to my babies?" He hugged one of them by the neck. "I can't just pick up and leave. This is a small town. I'd just get dragged back to my mom's. I don't know how to drive either, nevermind a plane ticket. Though the airport is in the next town over anyways. My anxiety prevents me from driving…"
"Jesus, someone is forgetting he has a demon on his side now." Beau smirked a bit, scoffing. "You don't need to know how to drive when I can take us wherever you wanna go. To and fro whenever, wherever. Doesn't that sound nice? You don't even have to live here and you could still come visit all the time."
"That…feels like cheating." He said awkwardly. "Also, you look like the bullies at my school. I don't trust you. I don't trust anyone." His wolves were on clear high alert around Beau, ears perking everytime he spoke. The two wild cats didn't seem very fond of Beau either, sticking closer to Alex.
"Cheating is sort of my Forte. I don't really like adhering to your silly human rules." Beau stuck his tongue out, huffing indignantly. "And there's no way the bullies at your school are anywhere near as attractive as me. Am I supposed to beat them up or something? Make their lives hell? I'm assuming that's part of my job."
Alex shook his head. "No don't…don't do that. I don't like pretty people. They use their good looks as an excuse to be rude and extra mean. I don't like most people in general…" He sighed and whispered to one of the wolves. It howled, and all 3 of them took off to go hunting.
"Ugh, what am I supposed to do then?" Beau sighed in exasperation, leaning back on his hands. "What am I supposed to protect you from if you don't want to let me, huh? Do you want to be bullied or something?"
"No. But, I'll take the blame and then put on death row, because they won't believe the demon thing. And this is a town of heavy catholics, so if they do end up believing it, they might just try to do an excercism instead, or put me in a mental ward."
"Well I could still beat them up without killing them." Beau rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, leaning back against a tree trunk. "And I could go off and kill them without even associating myself with you. You wouldn't even have to be anywhere nearby. Get yourself an alibi."
"I could never! That's morally wrong!" The wolves came back with some rabbits. Alex brought out his knife, grabbed two, and let the wolves run back off to go hunt some bigger game. He began to skin the rabbits with a strange methodicalness one wouldn't expect him to have. He wasn't squeamish about blood, but people terrified him. He was interesting. "Start a fire so I can cook the rabbits, please. Oh and set up a spit." He smiled and then cut off the rabbits heads, after putting on a blood splattered apron he had stolen from his mother. After that he gutted them, and threw those parts to the pups to enjoy, and all the other excess parts he was getting rid of.
"'Morally wrong' is subjective. Murder is perfectly fine for my moral code." Beau stuck his tongue out a bit and watched with mild interest as Alex butchered the rabbits, glancing up with an eyebrow raised when something was requested with him.
With only mild complaining, he set up the fire and spit as requested and brushed off his hands, now staring into the flames.
"Thank you grumpy." He chuckled and stuck a stick in the center of each rabbit, and began to cook them after putting away the apron. "So then, how long have you been a demon? And you don't look very…demon like. More like a grey friend, or a type of evil fairy." He obviously spent most of his time inbetween the pages of books. He said this all in a kind tone, but still, he kept away from Beau.
"Hmm?" Beau glanced up curiously. "Oh, it's been a while… used to be an angel. They kicked me out and I'm acclimating nicely to my new home." He sighed softly. "I wonder how my family's doing sometimes. I haven't seen them around, so I assume they're still up there."
"You'll see my mother down there. Eventually." He sighed as threw the skins off way off into the trees, and continued to cook, humming a bit. He watched the spit roast, and all went quiet as the sun began to set. He watched the sun, and listened to the stars. "The wolves won't be back from hunting for a while. I bet they're going after some cattle."
