keava gave her the med, letting her take them before working on patching her up. she got everything but her chest " would you -ah, lift your shirt please?"
"If I could, I would. But more than a couple of my fingers are broken." she says, sighing in relief as the painkillers go to work.
" Alright, I'm doing it then" she said, being easy she lifted the others shirt, wrapping an ace wrap around it and pressing sightly to see where it's broke
Giggling, Erocthmai says "You know, I could just tell you how many broken, fractured and bruised ribs I have."
"I would prefer to find them thank you," she said, feeling to her upper chest. " I was a med student before the facility flagged me to be a guard. they waited till the day I got out. they said it was because they might need a medic and I was perfect… now I see it was a medic for the SCPS who wasn't going to make It through another round of testing.."
Erocthmai shrugs. "Suit yourself."
"Huh. They do that a lot, you know. Flagging valuable people from the general public to help out with containing the SCPs or stuff like that. Most of their Site doctors, for instance, Dr. Bright, were trained specifically for jobs like. . . well, what I am. Others were recruited into the ranks, like physicists and nuclear chemists." she murmurs.
" i don't see while they test on beautiful things like you.."
Erocthmai stiffens slightly. "Beautiful? You literally just met me, and you're calling me beautiful, huh?"
" i dont need to know you to say that. you really are."
Erocthmai snorts. "I guess, but I dunno. It just feels. . . weird. Like. . ."
Her voice trails off, and she shrugs.
she sighed. " i need to her to work. if I don't come back they'll come looking for me."
Erocthmai snorts. "You should deal with the rest of me, too, if anything is to heal properly."
" what else is broke? i though i got most of it," sh said softy and went to get her gear
"My fingers. My left shin. A few toes." Erocthmai says.
she sighed, coming out of her room geared up. she used her last few minutes helping erocthmai instead of getting coffee or anything to eat.
Erocthmai chuckles, and as soon as she's fully bandaged up and the bones are all set, she gets up, wincing slightly. But she can move, and that's all that counts. "I can get you some food."
She's gone, not as fast as she'd like to go, nor as fast as she could go, but still fast enough to be barely visible. She has food and coffee when she returns. She hands it to Keava. "There you go. No, nothing bad happened."
" you need to be careful, you could hurt yourself." she said but looked down at the things and smiled warmly ' but thank you.." she took the things and sighed " see you after work, no going out no being loud, and no over exerting yourself. don't go in my room either."
Erocthmai shrugs. "I'm not loud."
She looks bemused. "No overexertion, huh? Yeah, no. I don't listen to orders. I'll be fine."
She shoos Keava out the door. "Now go."
neava sighed and went to work. she got reprimanded for not catching the girl.
While she's waiting, Erocthmai decides that while she's holed up in Keava's house she may as well be productive. She cleans the kitchen, vacuums, and cooks a meal for her.
"That should be good." she murmurs. Why was she hitting on me? And why am I doing this?
after a day's work, keava comes home dog tired. she comes slouching through the door and stripping her gear in the doorway. she has bags under her eyes and her cheeks are tear stained
Erocthmai goes into the living room, concerned and using a wheelchair she'd found to move around.
"You good?" she asks, wincing as she speaks.
" just exhausted " she said solemly
Erocthmai nods. "Exhaustion is a constant companion. Tell me, who did they put you on duty with today? The Plague Doctor? Shy Guy? The Peanut? Or did they stick you with 221-Calabassas, for the Scarlet King?"
" mister crow' she said softly
