Rashi smirked, gesturing for her to step back as he stepped up to the door, slowly increasing the air pressure around it.

Suddenly the door began to groan. And then it began to crumple.
(Oh…. Okay then….)
Megan couldn't take the anticipation as the door crumpled and creaked. Just blow it to smithereens already!!! She thought, excited.
Tobias was playing hide and seek with Firiko back at the house, and one time, the bird had hid well, and he couldn't find him. He wandered around, searching nearly everywhere, but couldn't find him. "Where are you Firiko!?" He called out.
Skye smirked, "He's in here" he said from his relaxed position on the couch, fingers still massaging his temples.
Rashi put out a hand, mimicking crushing something as the door groaned and crumpled. "Sorry… this is taking so long…" he said to Megan, sensing her anticipation.
She smiled. "It's fine, take your time." As long as Marceo doesn't show up….
Tobias walked into the living room and had a look around. "Where?" He asked quietly, knowing that Skye was probably greatly annoyed by him. Nonetheless, he searched the room for the tiny bird.
Rashi focused himself, crushing the door of it's hinges, suddenly breaking it away entirely. "That good enough?"
Skye smirked, "Look carefully" he said, adjusting himself carefully.
Megan grinned. "Sure. It's perfectly fine…" She slipped inside, heading down a hallway and to the mechanism where he broke the girl out. There has to be some kind of portal here he uses….
Tobias let out panicked whine as he searched behind the books on the shelves, and inside the few decorative vases around the fireplace. He frowned. "I give up…." He said with disappointment.
Skye smirked, "You haven't looked everywhere, he pointed under his left arm, which was held up at a weird angle.
Rashi followed her in, "I take it you've been here before?"
Megan nodded. "A couple times…." She looked around, and saw a desk full and covered with ruffled papers. Maybe I can find something over here…?
Tobias glanced at his arm for a second. Could he be under here? He approached Skye and lifted up the one awkwardly positioned arm to find Firiko peek out from (wherever he was.)
Tobias' face lit up. "I found you!"
Skye grinned, letting Tobias take the bird as he sat up. "Was wondering how long it'd take you."
Rashi looked around, stopping at an incantation on the wall. "Did anyone see this before?" he asked quietly.
Megan glanced over. "Huh?" She went and approached him. "…I don't think so…" I don't even know what this….
Tobias let Firiko hop into his hand and he pet him a little. "I didn't think you'd help him hide…" You sneaky bird, Firiko…
The bird chirped happily.
"I wasn't trying to" said Skye, "He slipped in there when I moved, and wouldn't come out."
"I'm gonna take that as a no" said Rashi quietly.
Well I even said I didn't think I saw them before– "I assume you know what they are?…." Considering it's something you can read. Maybe?
Tobias sat on the chair and Firiko fluttered up to his head, perching there. "Why would he want to hide under your arm, though?" That seems a bit out of the ordinary.
"I have no idea" said Skye smiling, and sitting up to leave a spot for Tobias.
"I just found out how Marceo brought us all here" said Rashi quietly.
Megan furrowed her brow. Has it been in front of us all this time??? She shook her head. Unbelievable…. She took a closer look, but realized she couldn't read it (or she can. I dunno)
Tobias giggled. "He does the most obscure things…"
Firiko came down on the kid's shoulder and fluffed his feathers cutely.

"It's an enchantment, a way to open portals, without magic." said Rashi, his fingers brushing over the carvings.
"That's…. Insane…." Who would even want to do that?? Why does this even matter to Marceo so much??? She sat herself down in a swivel chair and rolled herself back over to him. "…What does it say?"
"It's not a dialect I'm familiar enough with to translate…." said Rashi, "It's also ancient…. so …I can only understand the gist of it… which is it's purpose."
"…..So….." She motioned him to go on. "….What's the gist?" I can't wait to tell them that there's…. There's a way!!
"it's purpose is to summon powerful magic users, ones who have magic ready for the taking." said Rashi his voice quiet. "Which explains why it didn't bring Skye's younger brothers. Or Firiko's siblings."
"That's awful…." Megan muttered under her breath. Marceo is truly evil… She scowled. "Is there a way to… Like…. Um…. Reverse it?"
"The enchantments say how to extract magic, but that part of the stone is worn away, mostly all it's good for is the summoning."
"Hm…" Megan frowned, a bit disappointed. "Well, there has to be another way, right?…." There has to be…
"Hang on" said Rashi, studying a different part of the stone.
