Rio watched her curiously, I wonder what this is all about?

“Sure thing!” Megan grinned. “That would be great.”
“Then I’ll see you tomorrow!”
He was about to hang up when she suddenly stopped him. “Well, how would we introduce him to Tobias when he’s never seen him?”
Steve was silent for a bit when he let out a suppressed breath. “I think we’d just have to do memory altercation.”
She shook her head. “You know how dangerous that is to do. We might even…. well…. lose him just so that he can see him how we want him to see him…”
“True… We’ll find a way around it… but I do want Tobias to have someone of his age to get along with him.”

Rio couldn't help listening in, his curiosity growing by the second.

“Maybe… let’s just see how things turn out tomorrow. We can’t discuss everything over the phone.” Megan crossed her legs.
“Alright. I’ll see you tomorrow morning then!” Steve said. “Bye!”
“Bye, Steve!” She put the phone down and let out one of the longest sighs she ever did. “That was quite…. interesting.” She wiped a sweaty hand across her face. I don’t know what he was doing when he came up with an idea like that.

"What Idea?" Asked Rio curiously. "if you don't mind my asking that is"

Megan turned and glanced at him for a second. “Oh… Steve was thinking about building a second android….” She scratched the back of her neck. “I don’t know where he got that idea, and I don’t know what to think about it.” I really don’t…. I don’t want to have someone like that second robot to hinder his memory and have to do memory altercation.

"That sound's quite interesting," said Rio thoughtfully.

"Yeah…." Megan said a bit quietly. "Although plenty of things could go wrong with that…" She stood up and stretched. It isn't a bad idea, I just… Second guess myself too much…

"Things go wrong all the time!" Said Rio. "But you'll never know how much will go right until you try it!"

"But…. I'm talking…. Like….. Irreversable things can go wrong…" Megan caught a glimpse of Skye and let out a deep sigh. "Anyway….. I bet you guys are up for something to eat, right?"

"Probably a good idea." Said Rio, glancing over at Skye's still quivering form. "Best to leave him alone for awhile."

"Will do," Megan said, heading into the kitchen. I bet that's somewhat how Tobias feels…. Except Steve stuck around after he came back. She pulled some measly leftovers out of the fridge and put it in the microwave.

Rio watched her carefully, before studying Skye for a moment. even I dont know the full story. I knew that their mom left for some reason, and i know Skye was a street rat.. but idk much after that..

(Because…. you know…. you type idk while writing a story, lol)

Megan finished cooking them and distributed the food on two plates, leaving one out just in case. Just in case… She sat over in the living room to avoid disturbing Skye. Best to leave him be…

Rio took one and joined Her, "so i was thinking Id go check out Marceos lair agin tomorrow." He said softly.
(Im on my phone and i keep getting interrupted for one. Two I know Skyes backstory. Rio does not.)

"Well, we should. It's time that we start thinking about having you guys go back to where you belong." Megan scratched her head a little. It has been quite some time…

"That'd be nice" said Rio, "Though I'm not at all looking forward to having to explain what happened to my brother…"

Megan sighed. "But all in all, you should go back before too long." It'd be horrible if they were stuck here in this awkward society to them….

"Yeah, that'd be nice" Said Rio, absentminded unscrewing a canteen he always kept at his side.

Megan sighed absentmindedly and stood up. "Well…" She said quietly, rubbing her arm. "I'll go and take my shower and probably go to bed. I have another early day tomorrow…."

"Night Megan" said Rio.
Skye sighed as he shook himself, trying to shake off the bewilderment of the day.

(Ooag…. Alright. Totally cool.)

Megan was up and running that morning, having her usual coffee and just chilling at the kitchen counter. ….It's still so different without having to wake him up in the morning… She sighed. Nonetheless…. It's good for him that he gets to know Steve better.

Rio came in a few minutes after Megan had gotten her coffee, "Morning"
