Not responding, she nodded. Juliet was still wary of him, not one to easily trust. I suppose the only option right now, is to wait it out. She thought to herself as she munched on her fruit loops.

Then the intercom came back on with the voice of the man. "At this point, the drug has worn off and hopefully, nothing bad happened during that time," he said, "because of some delays on our end, your time being here has gained another week." PD was shocked by what the intercom said and then looked at Juliet and mouthed the words 'we're fucked.'

"Oh my god, fuck you!" She yelled at the intercom in frustration. She felt a bit homesick and she hadn't even been here for that long. After she would receive the money, you better bet, that Juliet was getting the hell out of here.

"But because of this inconvenience, we will double the money that we offered from $10,000 to $20,000" the intercom added, "If anything changes, then we will immediately let you know." PD curled up on the couch and started to regret coming here to get the money "we are going to die in here alone together… I want to at least see the outside world before I die."

Juliet snorted, "We're not going to die." She exaggerated the last word to get her point across.
"They're going to supply us with food and water, don't over-react here."

"But what if they stretch our time here to another week?" he asks "what will we do?" He was slowly uncurling himself and sat down normally with some anxiety on the couch. "I can see that you and I can't live on without others around us… we will lose our minds in here."

"Well we're not going to die are we? It's not like we're stranded in the middle of a fucking jungle." Was this an extra waste of her time? Yes. however, the extra cash was definitely worth it. She was starting to think like Mr. Scrouge and she was ok with that in this situation.

PD smiles a little thinking more about the situation they are in right now and laughs a little. "I guess you're right…" He was about to add something else but he was cut off by the intercom. "It is 9:00 pm. It's time to sleep." He sighs as he looks at the clock and it said 8:00.

"I wonder if they have Tv in here, I'd love to watch some Netflix." She replied. If she was going to be stuck in here for 2 weeks, she better make the most out of it. Maybe she was a little bit to harsh on PD. Should I give him a chance?

"I think they do," PD said as he searches the walls for an opening or a button of some sort. He presses a button and a TV starts to lower from the ceiling. "Found it!" he yelled as he tries to turn it on, "Blasted futuristic science shit… why are these kinds of things complicated?"

"Here give it to me." Juliet snatched the remote from his hand and began operating the TV.
"Do you not have a TV at home?" She asked as she found Netflix and began scrolling through movies and shows, seeing which ones she wanted to watch.

"I don't have a home anymore," he said in a slightly depressed tone, "I was kicked out by my landlord because I was one cent short from paying my rent." He looked at the TV with amazement since he never has seen this before but he has seen some of the old movies that they had on there.

Juliet was starting to take pity on the man, she shouldn't have been so harsh on him. "Oh." She nodded before settling on one of the new movies that had just come out.

"I only took it so I can get a better life than the one I lived before I came here," he said before the movie started, "What about yourself? Why are you doing this for money?" He knew he wasn't going to get a clear answer so he decided to shut up and watch the movie.

"I, I uh just needed some money, like you." She replied, adjusting her position so she could sit comfortable on the couch, the next two weeks were about to get really boring. She pondered on whether or not she should just get to know her new neighbor or just keep to herself.

Once the movie was over, PD yawned since that movie was almost two hours long. He looks at the time and it said 9:53 pm. 'That was a long movie for me…' He sighs as he gets up to get a drink of water and looks to see if Juliet is awake or not.

Juliet stretched before going into her designated "room." Like the rest of the place, it was bland and had no personal taste whatsoever. She wasn't really tired in particular so she went and sat on her bed to think. It would've been cool if this was a Reality TV Show.

PD walked back into his 'room' and laid on the bed thinking about what's going to happen in the next few days. "She's struggling as much as I am…" PD said to himself out loud "maybe I can give her some of my cut so she can have a little extra with her." he continued to think about it until he finally fell asleep.

(oh, ok. At least you're not like Gordon Ramsey)

PD walked back into his 'room' and laid on the bed thinking about what's going to happen in the next few days. "She's struggling as much with her finance as I am…" PD said to himself out loud "maybe I can give her some of my money so she can have a little extra with her." He laughs at that idea for a moment as he gets back up. He wrote a message to her and slid it under her door which said "Since we are going to be in here for days, why don't we talk about ourselves tomorrow when both of us are fully awake. Or if you want to just be on your own, that's fine too."

Juliet slept well that night considering the fact that she was part of an experiment and sleeping in a strange place she barely knew. Barely awake, she climbed out of her bed to look for some coffee when she noticed a note on the floor in front of her door.
Curiously, she picked it up and read it. It wouldn't hurt to get to know the man that she was staying with, but at the same time she wasn't too keen on sharing her entire life's story with a stranger. Shoving the note into her pocket, she proceeded to walk into the kitchen in order to search for her daily dose of caffeine.

PD was sleeping close to the edge of the bed and he turned over just to land face-first into the hard floor. "Sone of a bitch" he said loudly as he to get up and covered his bruised forehead. He gathered his thoughts and remembered that he wrote Juliet a note late last light. 'There's no way she would want to talk to a stranger about herself' he thought as he walks out of the room and saw Juliet looking for something. "What are you looking for?" he asks her as he goes into the freezer to try to find something cold for his bruise "better yet… what are you going to make for yourself?"

"Just some coffee Amigo," She mumbled under her breath as she stood on her tippy toes in order to reach the coffee bag in the cabinet. "I mean, you can have some too if you want." She added before working the coffee machine. As someone who really hated mornings, she was addicted to coffee, as if she couldn't live without it. "Ahora donde esta la crema," Talking to herself as she was now at this point, ransacking the kitchen.
