Eli shook his head, still holding the smaller boy close to him, "Please don't cry. . ." He said again, unsure of what to do, he wasn't the best in situations like these, or really any when it came to having to deal with people and their emotions. But he felt about this, almost as if he felt responsible for this boy, "N-no, it's okay, I'd like to take it, I just, I really appreciate it. And don't worry about the crying." He said with an awkward pat on the boy's back, "It's fine, I didn't really like this sweater anyways, so now I have a reason to get rid of it now." Eli said trying to smile at the other boy and make him feel a bit better. "But, I'm already your friend, you don't have to give me things to make me more of your friend, that's not right."
Flynn nodded slowly, wiping his eyes on his own sleeve. "I didn't know we were already friends," he mumbled, looking down. He looked back up again, nodding to Eli's sweater. "And you can have one of mine, if you'd like. I think I have one in your size, one that I like to wear occasionally. It's been with my other clothes, though, so I'll probably have to wash it beforehand. Unless you want it to smell like me," he explained, wiping his eyes again. Flynn stood and grabbed the sweater out the closet, holding it close to his chest like it was a safety blanket. It was a light yellow, one not garish but quite pretty. Flynn squinted a bit at the window, the dying light of day barely shining through, then looked back to Eli.
Eli, "I wouldn't still be here if we weren't friends. I don't like staying around people that I don't have a connection with, so if I'm staying with you, then we're friends." He said with a slight shrug, watching Flynn get up, "You don't have to give me anything, I mean, it'd be nice, but I don't want to take something from you. I mean, it just doesn't feel right if that makes sense. It's a sweet gesture, but I couldn't do that. I could borrow it from you, but I don't want to take it from you."
Flynn nodded slowly, then handed the sweater to Eli. "It's okay. I want you to have it. That's what friends do, right? You can have that instead of the skull," Flynn smiled, a little sadly. He yawned largely, the room now almost all the way dark. "I'm going to hit the hay, if that's alright?" he smiled, hoping Eli would go to sleep so he could be alone for a while.
Eli's ears perked up a bit when the boy walked back over, "Uhm okay then, Flynn, but I just, I mean, fine. . ." He took the sweater, neatly folded it up and put in his dresser along with his other long sleeved shirts, "I, well, that's a good idea." He said softly, morphing to his wolf form for no apparent reason, he honestly just felt like doing it, so he went for it. Eli lept swiftly onto his bed and stretched out on it, making himself comfortable, "Good night Flynn, sleep well."
Flynn curled up under his covers, fully clothed but not really caring at this point. "Good night…" he mumbled, yawning again. Flynn closed his eyes and began to breathe evenly, as if he was asleep. Really, he was waiting for Eli to fall asleep so he could get some things done under the cover of night. As soon as he was sure Eli was asleep, Flynn gently floated out of his bed, not walking so he wouldn't make any noise. He removed the cabinet of curiosities and all his random toys and bobbles, placing them in a cloth bag. The only things left were his clothes in the closet, his blankets and pillows on the bed, and the painting on the wall. Flynn floated out of the room and out of the building, then threw it all away in the dumpster. He brushed his hands off on his pants, then floated back in and laid back down, drifting off to sleep after a few minutes.

Eli had always been a light sleeper, having brothers who were out to get you and were willing to do anything to get rid of you somewhat attributed to that. He woke up slightly when he heard movements in the room, he opened one of his yellow eyes slightly, and watched the boy clear out all of things and leave the room. He had a bad feeling about what was going to happen, so he waited until Flynn was actually asleep to go and see what the boy had done. Eli quietly exited the room, and followed the boy's scent, all the way to dumpster. "Why would he throw his things out?" But instead of pondering the question for hours, he just quickly grabbed the bag and hurried back to the room. Once there he began to set the items back in their place, or at least the places he remembered them to be. Once done he just curled up into a ball-still in his wolf form- and just fell asleep on the floor.
