The year is 4247, and the great planet of Earth has been traveling the stars for about two thousand and more years by now. Turns out, aliens were real, and there are well… more then anyone ever actually thought there would be.

Earth has sent out many, many space ships and colonies in these long years, managing to colonize multiple planets and Earth has become a hub for international space travel. The economy is booming, the planet is… blossoming (despite the amount of rubbish and waste that still occupies most of the ocean).

Space craft 76BE5, one of the best and the biggest space crafts Earth has ever made. Only after 500 years, 76BE5 cut contact with Earth, flying to the furthest edges of the universe, in uncharted territory. A new government formed, one that did not have the ideals of it's passengers in mind.

Most became dirt poor, scraping the barrel to live. The ones that do have money live lavishly, looking down on the working class like they were nothing.

When a lone, human male eventually finds the old space craft, they're surprised as to what they found.

See, 76BE5 had become a legend back on Earth. No one knew exactly what happened and theories speculated around the space ship.

When a human male finds the ship, they find that the stories were all wrong. 76BE5 was a mess, and frankly they were concerned by the amount of riots that occurred, the very out dated technology and how poorly the people were being treated.

After bumping into another young male, one who had been working for all his life, the two team up to take down the government, get 76BE5 back on track and back to Earth. Not an easy task, but the two are determined to make it work and who knows, maybe a romance will form between the two.

GUESS WHO’S REBOOTING THIS FOR THE THIRD TIME SINCE NONE OF THEM TOOK OFF AND I’M SAD? MEE Anyway, sorry it's so long lol, I just had this idea and wanted to try this out. As you could tell, this will be heckin gay (as are most of my rp's…), so if that's not your thing, don't join, simple as that. Feel free to add to the plot and add your own ideas, I'm flexible with those kind of things :)

RULES

  • andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules, duh.
  • Correct grammar and spelling and stuff please.
  • more then one sentence I get sometimes you have to but try to keep it to a minimum, it keeps the plot moving.
  • Gore is all good.
  • Swearing is all good, as long as it isn't every two words.
  • Smut is good if you wish and if it happens, obviously it might not but yeah, it's here anyway
  • This list is subject to change.

Name: Jackson 'Jack' Hardwidge

Age: 19

Sexuality: raging homosexual

Appearance: Jack has a very thin frame, due to the fact that he doesn't each much. He does have quite a bit of muscle, due to the heavy lifting and the hands on work he has to do during the day. Is is pale, mainly because he spends all the day in the piping and the down end of the 76BE5, fixing pipes and mechanics all day and sometimes all night. He's around 5'7, though maybe on the shorter side. He has a mess of light brown, almost ginger hair, it's constantly a mess no matter how hard he tried to comb it. He does have a bay face, making him look quite innocent even though he really isn't. He has bright blue eyes with flecks of gold sprinkled throughout. Shockingly white teeth and a nice smile, when he does. Always has soot or dirt on his face and body. Freckles sprinkled all over his body and many on his cheeks. Big lips for a boy, making it almost look like he's pouting. There's something feminine about his facial features that he hates.

Personality: Jack is a very nice and caring person. Though when's he's protesting he can turn into a very angry male. He always gives his all into whatever he's doing, mainly because he knows most of the time he'll get paid better. Can be quite blunt, though tries not to be. Takes initiative and has a good sense on independence. Works well in a team. Easy to talk to and hold a conversation with. Does have a deeper side that not many people get to see as the last time he opened up it didn't send well. Sweet and lovely, has never felt real love before.

Identifying marks and features: Jack is actually missing his right leg and left arm. Replaced with mechanical prosthetic that he created himself. Give him a very stem punk look to him as it's more on the outdated side as the technology he used wasn't the greatest but it works fine so he's not complaining.

Likes: His work, the sound of ticking clocks and mechanics working, creating things, reading, exploring, space.

Dislikes: The government, rude or obnoxious people, the upper class aka the rich, silence

Fears: Suffocating, large bodies of water, dying alone.

Background: Jack grew up in a very poor family. It was just him and his dad as his mother died giving birth to him. His dad was very kind and sweet, the kind of fatherly figure a boy would hope for. He does have a few physical issues that prevent him from working too hard which is why Jack constantly works so hard. To help his had and earn more money for him. Sadly, though, his father is extremely ill and probably won't last much longer which saddens Jack more then he lets on. His father was very excepting with his personality and loves him to bits. Jack knows the slums of 76BE5 like the back of his hand, knowing most people around there. He knows the pips and underbelly of the ship well and loves spending time down there. Even though his dad doesn't like him spending too much time in the dangerous parts, Jack does anyone, loving the thrill.

Other: Constantly has a pair of goggles either around his neck, on his head or eyes. They were his mothers and he loves them to pieces. Never takes them off, only when sleeping. Also has an old, silver necklace with the picture of his mum inside the locket attached that he doesn't take off.

Sorry it's so much lmao, hope someone's interested.

(Sorry to disappearing for hours. Let me know if I should change anything.)
Name: Finley ‘Fin’ Aillard Lorkester
Age: 21
Sexuality: Bisexual, leans towards men
Appearance: Finley has a strong built frame, but has slim, spindly features. His skin is close to an olive tone, and always has a natural pink tint like he had been in the cold for hours. He’s closer to the tall side, somewhere around 5’ 9”, but he also wears some kind of slightly platformed shoe. Maybe he’s not as tall as he thinks. His hair is a navy black. It’s rather fluffy and unkempt, with random strands of hair poking up. His eyes are a pale green, close to the colour of a bay leaf. Accidentally knocked out one of his canine teeth, which he replaced with a faux gold one. He thought it was cool. Thinks himself to be rather handsome.
Personality: A rather stoic facade, and arrogant seeming. Doesn’t like sporadic or unplanned things. He isn’t a very decisive person, and has a hard time making plans, despite liking plans. He’s mainly introverted and prefers to observe rather than do. Can be a bit stubborn at times. Better at listening to another person then sharing. Not easily embarrassed or angered, but has been known to lash out randomly. Mainly a reserved and aloof person, but if proved that someone is worth his time, he can be a good friend.
Identifying marks and features: He has a white, peeling scar that runs across his face, from his left jaw, across the naval bridge, to his right forehead.
Likes: Dress shirts, sour things, accessories and jewelry, platformed shoes, painting
Dislikes: Cold weather, bratty people, social gatherings, bright colours
Fears: Having no worth, being lost, his mother, giving up
Background: Even with the equality where he was raised, there was an unspoken imbalance between everyone. He was put in the middle by his fathers kind nature and his mothers ignorance. His mother wanted to live more lavishly, and always tried to impress everyone, doing anything to get attention. His father preferred to help those he still needed it and to nurture Fin and his interests. At the point where he was ready to go out and become the new face of his family, his mother hit an all time low. She had sold all of Finley’s paintings and had more profit than she could ever need, but she had become insatiable. She took it out with drinking and violence. She ended up needing attention so desperately she killed her husband and attempted to kill Fin. With a ton of luck, he took her out and ran away.
Other: Out of habit from also being partially lazy, he never completely buttons up his shirts. Wears a black choker. Always has a little sketchbook in his pocket for painting ideas.

@ElderGod-Carrots

(I love him! Here's the starter (they won't always be this long lol, they'll shorten soon enough aha))

Ship 76BE5 had been missing for years. Or that's what Jack had been told all of his life. He'd been born and raised on the dreaded ship, living in the slums and working his ass off everyday for the whole 19 years of his life.

He'd been told stories, legends, really, of how the huge ship used to be. Teaming with new life, species of all kinda coming and going on the ships quest to explore the universe. The humans that had first been on the trip had been set with one goal: gather information, report back to Earth. Apparently during the first few years, that had been exactly what happened. Everyone did their duty and all was good. 76BE5 was the best ship in the universe at that point in time.

And now? Now the ship was a ruin. An old, ancient relic of years gone by. The government had created a hierarchy. The explores the Dictator liked at the time become the rich, the privileged. And everyone else becoming working or middle class. And that was how it had been since then. 76BE5 skirting along the outside of the universe, in unknown territory. The technology out dated, no way to contact anyone even if they wanted. Which, the Dictator didn't.

Jack had been born in a time of rebellion. A time where the working class, his friends, worked to try and take back the government, to try and find a way back to their home planet after all these years. Riots were common, fights were, too, even more so. It was a time where if you weren't rich, you were nothing. And Jack was apart of that group.

The young male spent his days working hard and slaving over the mechanics of the ship, trying his hardest along with all his friends to keep the ship running smoothly, even though it was becoming harder everyday. He attended the riots when he could, protesting against the government. That was how he lost his arm and leg, through he tried not to dwell on that.

On this particular day, Jack was lurking in the underbelly of the ship, around the old docking stations, the old loading bays. It was quiet, desolate and he liked it. He could see for miles and miles out into deep space, and he loved it, it was relaxing, though slightly terrifying at the same time.

@Meow

Finley sat at the front of the tiny ship he had stolen.
He needed to get to another ship, really anywhere except home. His provisions wouldn’t last and his water supply would run dry soon.
He didn’t have months to prepare and everything about this annoyed him, causing him to loose focus.
This whole thing was sporadic, but he couldn’t stay either.
He expected this feeling to subside after this long, but he still felt on-edge.
He’d also ended up a lot further off course and clearly knew less about piloting than he thought.
He was pretty much lost in space at this point, and there was nothing in sight.
He stared at the panning radar screen, mainly in the dark, trying to save power.
It started to beep, which startled him at first.
He looked ahead and zoomed in on the object.
It was an old, breaking ship, but there definitely was life there.

@ElderGod-Carrots

The protection fields around the edge of the bay were faulty. Obviously so as they flickered on and off. Dangerous to get too close but Jack couldn’t help but walk to the edge. The fear that he was going to get sucked into the vacuum of space was present but he didn’t think about it.

Instead, he focused on the small ship flying towards him. His eyes widened. There hadn’t been any other life in this part of space for years. Quickly, Jack headed to the side of the landing bay. He’d ended up fiddling with the lights a while ago and had them working. He flickered them on and off, hoping whoever or whatever it was would come over to him.

@Meow

Lights were flickering on and off on the ship, like a call for attention.
Maybe they had spotted him.
Finley’s heart sped up in hope, but there was also the chances of the life there not being what he wants.
He clicked around the control board, and got closer to the ship.
It dawned upon him that this could be the lost ship. It’s immense size, location, and state of deterioration were all huge connections.
There shouldn’t have been any life here, should there?
The ship had been lost so long, it was practically a legend more than a fact.
For now, it wouldn’t matter to Fin. There was life and a ship, which meant he had hope.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Jack practically beamed when the ship drew closer. He kept the lights flickering, then kept them on, illuminating the run down landing bay. The purple of the protection field stood out, as did Jack’s small frame. His metal prosthetics glistened in the new light, bringing his arms up and waving, trying to guide the ship to land.

@Meow

With nothing left to lose, Fin docked at the ship.
There was someone else there, and the lights were on. There could be someone there to keep up the maintenance.
How many people could be here?
Excitedly, Fin went to get whatever he had together in a bag.
If this was 76BE5, then it could be everything he could hope, or the worst thing he could think of.
Bag slung over his shoulder, he made his way to the side of the ship. He took a deep breath before he opened the door.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Jack turned off the lights once the ship had docked. Even though no one else came down here apart from him, he still didn’t want to get caught. He headed over after that. Maybe Earth had sent someone to bring the ship home. Maybe they had learned what was happening and had come to help.
“Hello? Who are you?”

@Meow

The person who had been standing there, look more like a dirty teenager than anything else. Fin had expected someone older to be there.
“Uh, I’m Finley Lorkester. Call me Fin. Nice to meet you, I guess. Who are you?”
He shifted his bags strap uncomfortably.
He didn’t sense any aggression from the boy who stood there. If he befriended someone, then he could start over.
No one here would know what had happened with him, and he could try and help the people here.
Everything looked out-dated on the ship and falling apart, like the only person who took care of the ship was this guy.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Jackson. Jackson Hardwidge. But I can by Jack,” He saluted with his metal hand, offering the man a small smile, “Welcome to 76BE5. You’re the first person to visit in years. Apparently, anyway.” He shrugged, turning on his heel as he headed away from the loading bay. They shouldn’t be down here for long, it was too dangerous and well, he was sure Fin didn’t want to stay down here for however long he was staying.

@Meow

“So this is 76BE5,” Fin said. “It’s nothing like what people think. Back on Earth, everyone says that it’s been completely destroyed or the technology surpasses our own. And that the prosperity and equality of the ship is impeccable. A dream-like society.”
He looked around a bit more and picked at his shirt collar.
“I’ve come too far to go anywhere else now. Let’s be friends Jack. I’ll help you however I can, and you can help me, by being my friend.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

Jack snorted, a look of disbelief crossing his face, “Dream like society? It’s far from that. The technology is old, we barely have enough to keep this old thing a float and functioning at a decent level,”
He led Fin through the tunnels towards the upper city. There were a few dim blue lights illuminating their path, ones that Jack had fixed to make it easier on himself.
“If you know your way around a ship you’ll be of great help, trust me.”

@Meow

“I’m sure I’ll figure it out. I’ve got no where else to go at this point.” Finley followed Jack, and tried to take in as much as could.
He could try mapping the ship, or finding a map that was in his ships database.
He’d probably still need to change the map, from the looks of it.
“Tell me more about what it’s like here.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

"In one word? Hell," Jack shrugged a shoulder before he realised that it was probably not what Fin wanted to hear, "But it's not all bad. The people are great, well, some of them, a lot of them that I know. As soon as you getting to the upper class they're twats, though." He sighed, pressing a button and a hatch opened above a ladder, "It's also loud, busy and crowded."

@Meow

“Everything here seems about exactly what I dislike. How many people are on the ship? And, where are we going?”
Fin continually followed Jack through the broke n ship.
It only became more and more apparent that the technology here was ancient.
It seemed that his mother would enjoy it here. From what Jack told him, he assumed that there were only two social classes. Those who lived above, and those who scraped the barrel to get by.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"No idea. But it's a lot. Not as much as it used to be, but it was still a lot," Jack started, climbing the ladder and not even checking to see if Fin was following, "And we're heading to the city. Technically we're not supposed to be down here, but it's quiet and there's lots of things to tinker with so."

@Meow

“You like to tinker with things, huh? Tell me more about yourself, please. You don’t need to share, I just prefer to listen to someone else quite often. It’s been a lonely while.”
Indeed it was, spending so long alone was a good thing and a bad thing in its self. But there was too much self-reflection involved.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Oh, well I'm 19, I've been working full time pretty much since I was six? Seven? I can't remember. I like to tinker and down here is the best place for that since no one comes down here anymore," He stopped for a moment while he pulled himself up the other end of the hatch, "I lost my arm and leg in a riot a while back."

@Meow

“Sounds like you’ve had a hell of a life. What about family? Maybe that’s touchy … probably still a better situation than mine.”
His voice quieted towards the end, as he silently cursed himself.
He brushed some dirt off his sleeve.
Fin was about ready to space out and go to sleep, but he also felt intrigued. The people here would be living entirely different lives, and he could finally understand why the past had been so touchy.

@ElderGod-Carrots

He stopped at the top of the hatch, thinking for a moment. It’s not like his family was terrible, “It’s just me and my dad. Never knew my mum.” He shrugged, tugging at the strap of his goggles around his neck. He never liked talking about his mum, mainly because he had nothing to say about her. It wasn’t.. touchy, per say, but it was a subject he avoided.

@Meow

(Sorry for not responding!)
“At least you’re have your father. Do you have a good relationship with him? It doesn’t sound like you dislike him.”
If only my mother wasn’t in my life at all.
His life would probably be on a good path. He wouldn’t be stuck, lost in space at the edge of the universe, his father wouldn’t be dead, and he wouldn’t have murdered anyone.
He could have a good future.

@ElderGod-Carrots

(all good)
"Nah, he's great, bit stubbon at times but I suppose that's where I get it from." Jack led them down another long hall way, holding open a plastic covering to reveal a hot, steamy and very packed set of tunnel systems. Ones that led to different parts of the ship for repairs and work, "Anyway, enough about me, tell me a little about you."
