It is said that a picture tells a story. A story of a thousand words. No more, no less. Well, it isn't entirely false. Miki is a girl with a rare talent. She can read the paintings. Each brushstroke contains a different word than the one beside it. Even the one under it. So far, she is the only one to possess this talent. Hera is a girl who loves to paint. She is an artist. She paints with anything- acrylic, gouache, watercolour, you name it. She just doesn't… draw. She paints. No pastels, no pencils, it has to be painted. What happens when Miki happens upon one of Hera's paintings and reads a story no one could have predicted?

Elissa slipped into the building, walking up to her grandmother’s floor. She paused when she noticed a tall man waiting outside of her grandmother’s apartment. Her grip on the knife tightened as she drew nearer, slowing down. “Who are you and what are you doing here?” she demanded, trying appear tough. Her hood was still up, throwing shadow onto her innocent face, her hair mostly hidden. Her eyes, however, gave her away. They were nearly the same color as her grandmother’s.

Appearance: Zella’s most captivating feature is her eyes, which have heterochromia. One of her eyes is brown and the other is a pale blue. She has long lashes and expressive eyebrows, so her emotions are always laid bare on her face. She has thin lips and an easy smile. Zella’s hair is curly and goes to her collarbone, with a texture similar to MJ’s hair in the newest Spiderman movies (the one played by Zendaya). She has light brown skin and stands at 5’ 6”, just over average height.
Personality: Zella is quick-witted and bright, but also easily distracted. Once she is concentrated on something (like a painting) she can go for hours. She is really invested in her art, and likes to paint while listening to music. Zella is adventurous and cheerful on her best days and cold and brooding on her worst. Appearance: Chest-length blonde, slightly wavy hair. Blue-grey eyes, small nose, thin lips. bright skin. Not very tall, only about 5 feet. Her face has a quality about it that makes her appear as if she is younger than she really is. She has a slightly high-pitched voice, but not very high. However, this difference is amplified when recorded. Hourglass body shape.
Personality: Despite her medical issues, Elara always tries to stay positive, even when things are tough. She has a tendency to make dark jokes when she's scared, and loves to draw. She really hates spiders and snakes, and especially worms, for some reason. But she really likes to read, surf Twitter, and search the internet for yet more art supplies that she doesn't need lmao.
