"What the hell Orion??"
Adam grasped their hand, examining it.
"That's deep!"
"What the hell Orion??"
Adam grasped their hand, examining it.
"That's deep!"
“Is it,” they said dryly. “It’s to mark where we’ve been.”
"Idiot, we could have done something else rather than you cutting yourself."
Adam ripped a little bit of his shirt and wrapped it around the wound, tying it up tight.
"Let's just keep moving and stop acting impulsively and actually communicate before slicing a hole the size of the grand canyon into our body, shall we?"
Orion grinned. “I’ll ask before I mutilate myself next time,” they said, a note of triumph lacing their voice. “I’m beginning to think you like me more than you’re letting on.”
"Fuck off."
Adam playfully pushed Orion away and took a couple of steps down the hall, avoiding the doors.
He licked his fingers and held them up in the air, attempting to feel the direction of the wind.
Orion watched him silently, not chastising him about touching them this time. “Do you think any of these doors mean anything?”
"I don't know. Most of them look like school rooms. A couple looks like little girl rooms, it's weird."
Adam glanced at Orion, making sure they were ok before walking up to a door, "Who knows, there may be a vent or something in one of them."
“If he wanted us to find a vent, he would have placed it somewhere obvious. I think he knows exactly where everything is, and would know if we found something he didn’t like,” they said ruefully.
