Inspired by the Wattpad novel 27 Days. Character B commits suicide, but character A is given the chance to go back 30 days to make sure they don't. Time is not on their side. Can Character A save Character B? You can be either the suicide victim or the person who's supposed to save them. I have no preference, it just seems like an interesting character building exercise with a lot of ~angst~.

@Fraust

I feel like friends would be better for this one (and I'm in a lot of romance roleplays so a friendship one could be fun)

@WriteOutofTime

Sounds good! Here's the template:

Other (hogwarts house, MBTI, zodiac, whatever else):

@Fraust

Name: Lucas Mulbright
Age: 17
Sexuality: Hella homo
Gender: Male
Appearance: He has fluffy medium/long length blond hair spiked up in the front, baby blue eyes, and is pale with freckles. He's about 5'6 and very thin.
Normal Outfit: Lucas only wears long sleeves for obvious reasons. Generally hoodies and jeans of any color because they're comfortable.
Personality: Although he's very depressed, he's not the type you'd take for an emo or anything. He tries his best to act 'normal' so no one will know or have to worry about him, though his smile is noticeably fake if you bother to look at him for more than a second or two. He's very tense and anxious most of the time, and he flinches at loud noises and sudden movements.
Backstory: Hoo boy. The shit started when he was nine. Basically, his mother was killed in front of him and his twin brother, Claus. Claus went to get revenge and, at nine years old, was easily killed as well. Cue survivor's guilt, not helped by his father, who has become alcoholic and abusive towards Lucas, who he has pretty much forgotten entirely. He either thinks he's a stranger or Claus, and he's not the most friendly… despite how awful his father is, he finds himself making excuses and being attached to his father because he's his only living family member.
Quirks: Idk what you want here honestly. He likes to look at old photographs, has a strange affinity with animals, doesn't like talking about his family (or personal life in general)
Fun Fact: Had an old chocolate lab named Boney from when he was a kid, but he's no longer alive. Boney was one of his major coping mechanisms.
Likes: Animals, nature, reading, drawing, learning how to tie knots oof
Dislikes: His house, alcohol, talking about his personal life, loud noises, crowds
Other (hogwarts house, MBTI, zodiac, whatever else): Probably Ravenpuff, INFP, idk zodiac..

@WriteOutofTime

(I'm gonna make my character tomorrow because im currently half asleep. but i guess the age range can be high school or college? like 17-20 ish)

@WriteOutofTime

Name: Tyler Han
Age: 17
Sexuality: Straight
Gender: Male
Appearance: Dirty blonde-brown hair curly in a mid bald fade, a five o'clock shadow, very intense green gray eyes surrounded by smile lines, tanned skin, on the short side. Has a bit of muscle.
Normal Outfit: Wears a lot of dad shirts tucked into high waist jeans. Always cuffs his pants. Wears converses or socks and sandals.
Personality: Tyfer has a kind, gentle presence. Cheerful and flexible. He is not easily angered, but once he is, he yells until he is heard. He values above all else his friendships and family ties. Although he is often quiet and awkward in a large crowd, one-on-one interactions with him are invaluable. He is encouraging and supportive, and tells his friends what they need to hear instead of what they want to hear. People often ignore him or overshadow him, but they come to him when they need him. He's got a heart of gold and tries his hardest to make the world a better place. Very very lonely, but trying his best.
Backstory: Raised in a fairly flexible environment. His father died two years ago from cancer. His mother and sister are his role models and he wants nothing more than to be like them and honor his father's legacy. He wants to be a doctor and go into cancer research to help people like his dad. He's also in love with a girl who doesn't really know he exists, but who isn't?
Quirks: His dates stand him up a lot. He can be a bit too trusting. Touches people comfortingly, especially shoulders, but understands people's boundaries.
Fun Fact: He absolutely loves dogs and has three.
Likes: Reading and writing, going to church, wearing fun socks with patterns, eating breakfast outside while the sun is rising, sunsets and sunrises in general, long talks with friends, writing letters, children, being around his sister.
Dislikes: Crushes, wearing suits, big crowds, bullies, jerks, hyper-masculinity, rash decisions.
Other (hogwarts house, MBTI, zodiac, whatever else): Hufflepuff, ISFJ-A, Cancer

@WriteOutofTime

(sure! before i write a starter, do you want lucas and tyler to have been friends before lucas commits suicide, or do you want them to meet in the RP?)

@Fraust

(They should probably at least know who the other is, and Tyler just gets closer to him so he can prevent him from killing himself)

@Fraust

(I promise I'm usually a lot more active lol my family is out of town and this is the only chance I can get on rn. I'll probably be back again in a few hours)

@WriteOutofTime

(okay sounds good)
Tyler rubbed at his face tiredly, wiping away tears that should have been falling but weren't. He was still in his suit and tie –he just didn't have the energy to change clothes just yet. He couldn't believe he didn't know that Lucas had been suffering so much. He'd hidden it so well behind smiles and good times, but now…now it was too late.

Tyler pulled off his suit coat, and a letter fell out. He frowned, not remembering it being there a few hours ago. He pulled it out and opened it. "What in the world?" he mumbled as he read it.

You can save him. It takes him 30 days to decide to take his own life, but you can stop him. This is your one chance. I'm sending you back in time 30 days. Also, tell him his Mom says hi.

Tyler squinted at the paper. Was this some crazy, messed up joke? Suddenly a swirling sensation shot through his head. He felt like he was going to pass out or puke. Everything went black…

And then he opened his eyes in the cafeteria and stared right into the face of his dead friend, Lucas.

@Fraust

"You okay, Tyler?" Lucas asked once Tyler seemed to suddenly appear. "You sorta dozed off for a second there." He laughed, though for some reason, it sounded almost rehearsed. It wasn't genuine, but it was convincing if you didn't look for the falsehood. At this point, he was already considering the notion of suicide. God, it'd be so much better than living… His father had gotten even worse recently, and Lucas was actually currently wearing a hat to cover the new wounds on his head from just this morning. If he were dead, he'd get to see mom and Claus again in something other than dreams, or more specifically, nightmares. He often relived the moment he saw them die, though he'd gotten pretty used to it by now.

@WriteOutofTime

Tyler blinked at him, trying to get his bearings. What the hell? The last time he had seen Lucas, it had been his ghastly pale face lying in a coffin. Now the boy was sitting in front of him, laughing and fully alive. He leaned back, feeling like he was going to throw up. "Oh, my God," he managed. "Oh my God. Lucas?"

@Fraust

Lucas glanced to the side and then back to Tyler. "Y… Y-Yeah? Is something wrong? Should I take you to the nurse?" Although lunch seemed to be almost over, Lucas had hardly touched his food. He was exhausted and in pain, and it was evident in his tired blue eyes.

@WriteOutofTime

"No, I'm fine, I'm okay," he managed, his eyes wide and unblinking. Lucas was dead. How in the world was he sitting right here? Unless… "Hey, what's the, um, what's the date?"

@WriteOutofTime

"November…first?" Tyler stared down at his hands, and then looked around the cafeteria. It was supposed to be December 1st. He'd somehow gone back an entire month. I'm sending you back in time 30 days. Had that really happened? "That's…uh, sure, yeah, that's right."

@Fraust

Lucas nodded. "You sure you're alright?" He asked as they stood to put their trays away. He fidgeted with the sleeve of his hoodie to make sure it covered his wrists.

@WriteOutofTime

"I'm totally fine," Tyler said with a quick smile, even though he felt his eyes burning. His friend was really alive, and he really had to find a way to save him. But how? "Um, how are –how are you?"
