What kind of names do your coolest weapons have? Do you use translations of other languages to name them, or are you a "Stormbreaker" kind of person?

Because my character is a Half-Dragon and uses Earthbending, most of his weapon names are associated with mountains like Monadnock and Matterhorn.

That's cool! Does your character name his weapons himself?
One of my characters has a pair of Autopistols that were given to her by another commander. Lovingly, he had named them Lost and Found, based on her transformation from a thief with no purpose to a military commander.

He takes care of pretty much everything unless it's something that he doesn't know how to do. He wanted to paint the Mattermunchers like Behemoth heads, but he has no clue how to paint well, so he sent them off to a friend.

That's awesome!

Haha, nice!
Lol most of my weapons are named after their first owners and a descriptive word added - Alderan's Bane for one; the sword was turned against him.
(That really sounds like Alderaan from Star Wars)
(Whoop lol that wasn't my intention. I haven't really watched SW yet lol)
(It is quite obvious so maybe you should change it)

(Yeahh ooof I've had it for a long time. Should've remembered SW. I'll go see if I can find a different name ;_;)

Poetic!
I've got a few, so here goes. I run a D&D campaign, so some of these aren't mine, but are in my game.
Brr and Ache: a pair of magical warhammers. One deals cold damage, and the other deals extra bludgeoning damage. The character who has them (a half-orc named Vaconto) isn't too bright, so he named them after their damage types.
"When you put 'em together, they 'brr-ache' stuff"
Quillstorm: a magical longbow that conjures powerful storms of magical energy when fired directly up. The weapon is sentient and can possess its wielder to create mass destruction. It is currently being wielded by a former ally of my players, who now goes by "The Author of Storms"
Thorn Whip: a wooden shortsword that can transform into a thick, thorny vine and trap enemies, dealing damage as they try to escape.
Rejoinder: basically a Swiss-Army-Knife. In its dormant state, it takes the form of the last weapon the wielder commanded it to take. When the keyword is spoken, the wielder can transform it into any weapon that they know how to use.
THE INFINITY GAUNLET no jk my favorite weapon name is riptide from percy jackson lol
I have a crossbow that automatically lights its bolts on fire, and then shoots three at a time. I call it–pause for dramatic effect–SPITFIRE
I have a character that has a set of dual blades that she wasnt originally going to name but long story short she has a really tragic backstory and now shes named them (though she will never admit it to anyone) rise and fall, rise after her own success, fall after the death of her best friend
I also have some sacred swords that have been named the crimson crowns, reasoning confidential
