LIPS AND NOSES ARE THE HARDEST IN REALISTIC DRAWING. Cartoons and animated ones are too easy though
YESSSS
Like, I’m trying to draw someone realistic and male, and I’m like, I don’t think they should have lips?
someone realistic and male
The struggle omg.
I can draw lips just fine on female characters, but every time I try to draw lips on a male character it always turns out looking really feminine and weird. I even tried looking up a tutorial and I actually found one, and despite following step by step it still came out looking like a woman's lips.
Yeah, male lips are weirdly hard. And hands.
Random question: does anyone know how to do the thing where theres a line through the text on here?
like this?
you put two of these ~ before and after the text that you want to be striked out.
So this: ~~hello~~
Becomes this: hello
Oh. That's how you do it.
We need to make a discussion page to help with how to do different things while typing
You know how there's a thing on general chat that's like "what tutorials would you like to see for notebook?" Maybe suggest it there?
I think it's already been suggested but let me doublecheck
In support theres a forum of people sharing the text stuff
And there a google doc explaining
Anyone know how to draw feet from the front? ‘Cause I just can’t get it.
That's the only way I can draw feet tbh. I'm not sure how to explain it exactly? You start narrower on the part of the foot connected to the leg, and it gets wider as you extend it. However, it should be on the shorter side because it's like looking at someone's foot head-on.
Ok, thanks! I’ll try that!
I have a Pinterest board just for drawing and tutorials in case any of you need it.
Ok so here's the thing im a perfectionist with lines too and I hate that my sketches are very SKETCHY
That’s okay. Sketches are supposed to be sketchy. My problem is that I really don’t like to leave my pics uncolored, and sometimes they look worse afterwards.
Yeah I only use watercolors i NEVER use colored pencils
Ah, I’m a colored pencil person. Occasionally, my drawings turn out good, but mostly they’d be better without color.
I love color pencils! Also I think coloring my drawing makes them look better.
I love using colored pencils but I need to use a specific brand.
I'm primarily an artist, actually : D
Don't consider myself a writer, but I'm starting to develop an interest c:
@Cabbage same, actually. I like the idea of a poet/novel writer, and I like answering short prompts and stuff, but I draw almost every day
