Hoi, @The_Wild_Warrior, @AltrinceTheAsianBean, here's this. It's purely optionaly, but I was thinking… since you both seem to think I'm good at writing, I propose that we have a short story contest, so that I can lose, and then you'll stop bugging me about it. And no, you are not allowed to not try.
Anyone out there who wants to judge, we don't care if you ike our writing or not. Just tell us whose you think is best. Trust me, our feelings won't be hurt.
Oh god, what is this?
Whyyyyyyyyyyyy?????
I’m obviously gonna lose if I’m up against you two ;~;
Eh, fine. Is there a prompt?
Nope, not unless you want one.
And no, you will not lose. Dude, you are fucking talented. Do not sell yourself out.
Hmm, How about we let the judge(s) choose a topic? In that case it’ll be fairer… I guess.
pouts fine, I’ll keep my mouth shut
Oh yes I want to be the judge.
I could choose a topic if you want. I always have something spinning in my mind.
Ooh I'd like to help judge as well!
I'll judge, if you'd like!
Thank you, Altrince.
Please do, you three! @the-boy-with-earphones, let's hear the prompt!
Okay, so this is something that I haven't seen commonly within writing, especially not on this site. It's old people. You know, those middle-aged, not-so-hip, "Boomers"
I would like to see a short story that includes multiple interactions between a more elderly person and a younger character. I'd love to see your interpretations of such things. What exactly happens in the story is up to you, but those are merely requirements. Have fun with it! :)
(Are judges still needed?)
(Maybe there sure be certain things that they are judged on? And we have some sort of point scale?)
(Good point! Maybe different people judge different sections, like we split it into three categories and two people take each category?)
(What are the category's?)
