I’m currently writing a book about an extremely old and powerful being who has a very dark past. Somebody from his past is trying to chase him down, and the main character is too afraid to confront that person. In the book he meets several people who help him deal with the issues he keeps running away from.
I’m not going into details because it’s VERY complicated, but if anybody wants, I can elaborate more?

Okay so update: I may have to edit this a little bit because yesterday somebody made me realize that the plot of my story is WAY too close to the show Lucifer
But here’s some more on it: Asura is an extremely power being. He acts like he’s above everyone, says what he wants, and fills his life with drugs, crime, and nameless faces.
That is, until he decides to make a short stop in the human realm and meets 3 people that would completely change the way he lived his life. They’re quick to point out that he’s got some issues, and they’re right. Almost all of his life, he’s been throwing himself into chaos, attempting to forget about the person who tormented him for years in the past.
Now, that person is back, and dead set on finding Asura and ending his life.
Anyway that was an awful description I’m sorry I’ve never really had to describe that book before
