SERIOUSLY!
SERIOUSLY!
okay but
why does this make you angry
Because I use the other forums a lot more!
okay i don't want to be annoying or anything
but what's FFS?
it's okay if you don't want to tell me but
It's "For f**k's sake"
Because I use the other forums a lot more!
Then….. why does it affect you if other people are here?
It feels like everyone ignores me…
It's "For f**k's sake"
okay…
thanks…
i'll go now sorry…
._.
It is "For f**ks sake"…
i know! i believe you
i'm just awkward and i saw your previous messages and i don't know what to say
thank you for telling me
okay I tried to comment on this but it looks like this got moved as I tried to comment so just let me retype this.
Love, I don't think anyone is ignoring you.
Some boards get more traffic than others. And some threads get more traffic than others in those forums. I was looking through the forums and there are threads from weeks ago that never got a comment other than the original, or only got one or two
Characters are a big part of writing and so people spend a lot of time in the characters forum to refine and brainstorm for their characters.
It's not you love
No one is ignoring you
^^^^^
I just comment on Creatures the most.
Yeah…. I think Creatures and Flora don't get a lot of traffic bc they're premium features, and also…. that's really in depth worldbuilding lol
and anyone in an earthlike world won't need to use those
But can't they help people?
I mean….. if they don't even go to the board they don't know that people need help there? Or if they don't spend time thinking about creatures they won't be able to help?
Like I honestly don't think I've ever hung out there just because I don't need the board? And while I do spend a lot of time on this site, I just… IDK I hang out in the forums that I use? And I comment there because they're the type of ideas that I have

I think this is probably a big reason. I like posting in the Language and Magic threads (and they’re premium features too, even though you can create languages and magics without having a premium subscription) but they don’t get a lot of traffic. Because I like these topics, I often check for new threads and comment on them, but I can imagine that someone who’s disinterested in the creation of new languages wouldn’t choose to read through the posts.
@"The Seliph-loving Gryffindor who also loves dragons and cats" - If you need help with a particular aspect of your story or worldbuilding you could try posting to threads where active users have offered critique. You may have tried this already, so I’m sorry if this suggestion isn’t helpful.
Why should I ask a question about, like, fish people, in the flora board?
that's not what they're saying, I don't think? But try posting it in general writing, general worldbuilding, or even general chat if you're desperate and you've tried the other two. or like if you talk with a group of ppl in gen chat (like I def have a particular thread where I have several internet friends), if you have something like that then ask them
Why should I ask a question about, like, fish people, in the flora board?
Sorry if my suggestion was confusing. I meant like, if you want feedback on your race of fish people, you could post in one of the threads that's titled along the lines of "I'll critique your writing!", "Critiques for everyone" etc. There are a few of those although I don't know how many are still active.
I think it can also help to have specific questions when asking for feedback, because it can give people a starting point. For example, I used to post my poetry to a critique group and rarely got feedback, but I persevered and tended to get more feedback when I asked for specific things I wanted help with, like, "does the imagery fit the melancholy tone I'm aiming for?" or "what did you think the story behind the poem was?".
