The Princess and Her Guard

Shiloh can't believe it. Her parents are putting a body guard on her. Again. Her new body guard would probably be arrogant and prideful like all the others. Besides, she was capable of fighting for herself!
Ethan wasn't too happy either. He had to be the body guard to the princess. She was most likely stuck up and probably thought she was better than the rest.
But when Xhall, a trusted soldier of the King, stages a coup d'etat and takes over the kingdom, Shiloh and Ethan have to put aside their differences and escape Ashye to find allies to help them take their country back.

Okay, so, thing is, it's really a merman (merboy?) story. Basically(oh boy this might be long), Prince Toka of the underwater kingdom Orion is very interested in the surface and all it's creatures - especially humans. He goes against his father's rules and wanders around near the rocks at the shore, and one day he meets Nicholas, a human who happens to be studying biology and the lives of 'Mythics', which are creatures like Merfolk, werewolves, etc. LONG STORY SHORT, IT GETS REALLY GAY AND THEY HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP THE HUMANS AND THE MERFOLK FROM STARTING ANOTHER WAR.

I've never done a real or a short story before
so uh, I'm starting out with a fanfiction

Harry Potter x Avengers x Hungers x Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit Crossover

My character is half Elf and half wizard/human/magical powers I guess. (Too op?) Her parents were an Elf and a wizard. (I need some kind of story for how the elf crossed over into our world. ) An unforunate accident killed both of her parents. Blah blah blah she gets her letter goes to Hogwarts.
After she decides to go to America to see whats it like when she meets Steve Rogers and Mr. Barnes. She decides to stay there. Blah blah blah, plane hits the ocean she wakes up. So I'm thinking after Civil War, she somehow gets teleported into Middle Earth in time for the War of the Ring.

Oh crap, I forgot, So I was also thinking that Hydra or some other evil organization kidnaps My character and mr. Barnes and puts them into a Hunger Games!

Also I have to add, I was thinking that Hyrda could if captured her and experimented on her and so she gets these powers which are echolocation, feeling/hearing vibration, night vision, seeing sound waves.

Your character isn't too OP, but you have to make sure to give her a good villain or else she will be.

I mean, I've been planning on starting a fanfiction based on BBC's 'Merlin'. It's an older show, but ya know, the fandom lives on. I wanted to rewrite it moderately, but keep the basic story line. Essentially, it's adding an original character who's half human, half faun, and having her become a servant in the castle under her father, who's a trusted ally of King Uther. She's lived in Camelot for the majority of her life as a servant, but it's not until Merlin arrives that things start changing for her. After several brief encounters, the two officially meet trying to thwart an attempt on either Arthur of Uther's life (depending on the episode, as I haven't decided yet). Uh, some things about her character (Trea is her name, by the way), since she's half human, that's the form she takes on the majority of the time, although when she can get away from the castle for some time, she'll switch to her magical form. She can perform magic similarly to Merlin, but her magic is different and centers with nature. Eventually, at the bidding of her father (who's disowned her and mistreats her), she becomes a second servant to Prince Arthur in addition to her duties as his servant. She meets Kilgharrah (The Great Dragon) when she catches Merlin heading there one night and follows him, much shook when the dragon addresses her and includes her in his lecture about destiny. Later on at some point (this is all undecided at the moment, but it'll happen), Merlin sees her in her faun form during a hunting trip with Arthur and accidentally shoots an arrow at her because he was holding Arthur's crossbow, and, well, he's Merlin… Anyway, that leads to him finding out who she is for real, and a bunch of secrets are revealed. Arthur remains oblivious, as always.

The story would still follow the basic script from the show, but Imma find a way for Lance to survive though. I liked him too much to let him die.

If you have any advice let me know? I've never written a full story, so this is all new.
