So I used to be really into writing, especially from 12-16, but a couple of years ago, life got in the way and I stopped writing completely. Now that I'm in a much better place, I have the constant urge to start writing. However, I can never seem to get a good flow going and my skills have deteriorated quite significantly these past couple of years.
Because of this, I've lost a lot of motivation and I quickly get frustrated while writing. This frustration creates writers block and the cycle continues.
How do I break this? Are there writing exercises (other than prompts) that I could try to help boost my skills and get back to the skill level I used to be quickly?
Please help, any advice or encouragement is really appreciated!!

Some things that I try to push past writer's block are things like writing sprints. Even if you have virtually zero ideas, I've found that writing anyways often helps, rather than giving up over and over again. Admittedly, it may not be the greatest thing you've ever written, but you'll at least be writing. Another thing, I've found that writing works when I feel strong emotion help. Doesn't only have to be negative either, it could totally be happiness, or a love-struck feeling too.

In recent time, after joining this site, I found that world-building and working on pages about my story and really thinking about it sometimes gets me in the mood to write. Not too sure how helpful any of these things will be to you, but just figured I'd try.

That is helpful, thank you! I'll try to start using notebook's worldbuilding features again and see if it gets me in the mood to write and try to push through it until I start to really get into it again
