@KoffeeOwl
So! I started storyboarding for a psychological horror story and there are a few things I need to figure out still before I start writing it. I'll summarize the basics that I have so far in bullet points.
- Ayame (my poor unfortunate main character) starts dating a girl who ends up belonging to a family of cannibals
- Paranoia is a theme that will be maintained throughout the story once the MC discovers this fact
- The girlfriend (Florence) knows that Ayame is aware of what her family does, but will not tell her outright that she knows. She chooses instead to torture Ayame with this information
- Ayame's view of society eventually becomes unreliable
- While Florence is still around, she "persuades" Ayame to help her get rid of certain things
- In the end, she either kills and eats her friend or Florence herself
I have a few ideas as to how Ayame finds out that Florence's family kills and eats people, but I haven't nailed anything down, as this is the part that I am having the most trouble with.
- At a dinner
- While helping Florence move
- White helping them paint, possibly
I also would really appreciate an opening suggestion. For example, should I start with Ayame finding whatever leads her to believe Florence's family is doing illegal things? Or should I start with the two of them meeting?
