As some may know, I am writing a seven book novel series (I know this is long, I don't want anyone nitpicking the length). I have the first four book's povs settled, but I am uncertain about the last three.
The first three switched between two different characters each, fourth switched around to fulfill whatever it needed. The last three is a Gen2 arc, and the POV for the first is named Cedar.
Should the pov be just Cedar, Cedar and his siblings (who are important for taking down the antagonist), or switch around Cedar's group? I feel like I exhausted the multicharacter POV in the first half of the series, but every character has a very important character arc that needs to be fulfilled within the last three and I don't know if I could tell the whole story from Cedar's perspective.
I'll answer any and all questions. All help will be appreciated. Thank you.

I know you've already settled the first four books, but personally I've have the POVs be the same for the entire series. If you have different/new casts of characters, then who's POV it is could change, but I'd do either a) a pattern/cycle of POV switches (person A, person B, etc. repeat) or POV switches to fulfill what's needed. I think consistency is important. Of course, this is my opinion, and you should do what you think is best with your books :)

Thank you for replying. The last three books are a completely different arc with new characters and a new story, it could be pulled off as a secondary series, like Heroes Of Olympus is to Percy Jackson, but the current set up is my personal favorite.
That was a random ramble. Anyway, this does help. I'll keep this in mind. Thank you.

Oh, I see. I think you could pull off a different type of POV for the last three, then. One thing I'd say is don't write from a character's POV if there isn't any point to it. If there's information or a different perspective to be gained, go for it. If not, I'd say just stick to the POVs that are necessary/make things interesting.
