Can't decide on whether to write my story in a 1st person or a 3rd person perspective. What are some factors I should consider in deciding this?

So consider:
- Cast size. Is it a small cast or a large cast?
- The lives of the protagonists. Is one a prince and the other a peasant? If so, split perspectives might be better
- Is there a situation in which the POV would limit the impact? For example, is the MC ever seperated from their group? Does the MC have a lot of internal struggles?
- The genre. Most romances (that I've read) have a 1st person POV so we can feel the love and good emotions associated with it. An epic, sprawling high fantasy, however, generally has a 3rd person POV.
