If you're still working on a plot, I recommend screwing around with character dynamics and settings first. Try putting them in modern day, or in a fantasy world, a sci-fi, historical fiction, etc. See what characters work best together. Try to figure out who the couples/exes/friends/frenemies/etc. are.
I still don't really have a plot for some of my characters, so I just write scenes of them interacting, or write dumb stories about them in some stories I love.
What kind of plot are you thinking of?
Okay so I was wondering why I didn’t get any replies and went to bump this
…Turns out I managed to unfollow the chat without realizing it
But I’m back now 😅
What kind of plot are you thinking of?
I’m just gonna vomit ideas here
I was thinking a fantasy-type story with a massive world that I can just go crazy with
Might play around with some horror themes occasionally but I’m not sure if that would fit well with the other ideas so I dunno
I definitely want there to be spirits/ghosts, I have a spirit character who’s one of my favorites and I don’t want to re-write her
I want to focus more on close friendships between the characters and keep romance to a minimum, but I also don’t want it to be all dorky, My Little Pony-esque Power Of FriendshipTM garbage
Magic. There will definitely be magic
I have 5 characters that I really want to have to team up to accomplish something, but I don’t have a clue as to how they meet, why they’d team up, or what they’d accomplish… Everything I come up with either seems unrealistic, forced, or way too overly cliche to even consider
Cute little fantasy animal creatures are a must for no reason other than drawing purposes
Uhh…
I’ll probably be back with more vomit in a few hours once I’m fully awake
I usually have more ideas than this
