Some of the character or even themes in my story are based off archetypes that are either mainstream or are in female-oriented media, so how to use such archetypes, I guess to crack into the implications of them or put them a new light, I show the cliches I need help deconstructing and dissecting

Well I was wondering view a trope through a realistic lens _{or semi-comedic} like for example, the Bastard Boyfriend _{I fucking hate that trope} but instead of the BB being redeemed by the Power of Love_TM, They continue to take advantage of their LI, until the BB insecurities ruin their relationship, How that for a deconstruction?
