How many unfinished books are you writing, and what are they about?

i'm working on the third book in my trilogy at the moment, but i have two others that i've started.
the first one i like to dub "toronto newsies meets a darker shade of magic." it's about a crippled girl living on the streets of toronto in the 1880s who sells newspapers to make a living when she finds out there are two other "torontos" - one in constant day, the other in constant night. oh, and there's magic and war and the ruler of day is called "lady tor" and the ruler of night is called "sir onto" because it makes up the word "toronto" and i love it.
the other is an urban fantasy bit about a girl named bard who has wings and lives in a city ruled by people who have the most money including her father, but there is another mysterious entity called "the master" who is killing off lower class citizens and in general being a big bad jerk so bard is on a mission to stop them.
Hahaha funny story…like five…
five? but idk if they're all going to be books.
The only one I've actually started is Of Turnstikes, Boots, and Williamses takes place in the 1860s (a version where people aren't shitty and racist/homophobic) is about this caterer named Ada Williams who's nephew Clarence comes to visit for the summer and almost immediately almost gets run over by her friend, neighbor, and frequent customer Montague "Monty" Turnstike, a member of the local "family" of vampires. Clarence is saved by local mechanic/inventor Rosie Boot, who had just returned to the country recently. (Her assistant, Milton, is madly in love with her. She hasn't noticed.) So mostly the story is Ada and Rosie falling in love while everybody else gets up to a whole lot of wild crap. There's this whole subplot with Milton, who the "oldest" Turnstike (Tucker, a notorious romancer) has taken an interest in. Only problem is Tucker insulted him to his core the first time they met and A: didn't notice, B: continued flirting with him incessantly. So Tucker is at the shop a lot, which means that they're there when Monty loses control of the carriage (again) and hits Milton. He would have died, but ~vampires~. Tucker can't bring themself to do it though so their younger "cousin" Mills does and Tucker is in charge of Milt's recovery.
I'm writing two books. One is about a power struggle between very powerful beings, the other is about a teenage girl determined to save her family.
I'm only actively writing two stories, but I've got several on the backburner in case I feel like changing genres.
One of mine is an urban fantasy mystery. The other is a near-future about the moral idea of murder for the greater good.
two series…. I may be overextending myself right now.
I have three stories but two are extremely related in that they're on the same timeline.
Seven… and only four of them are related to each other at all… please help me
I have 3 books(one is the first in a series, unsure how long of a series, another is the first in a trilogy and the other is just a book ), and 3 other "things" I have yet to decide whether or not they qualify as "books in progress"
I'm writing one slice-of-life comic script about an agender teen and their friends; one magical realism story set in an alternative universe San Francisco that has a lot of intrigue I haven't quite figured out how to deal with; one post-apocalyptic story that's really not about the undead but more about the characters and their mental health issues and trauma; one fantasy story where a cliche trope of a princess running away from marriage turns into a weird mix of adventure, slice-of-life and political intrigue; and finally one story about a guy in his second to last year of high school and his struggle with pressure and expectations and self-esteem and money issues at home and always coming up short.
So I've,,, got my hands full.
I've got a story written like an autobiography about a serial killer, a story about the afterlife falling apart, and a comic type thing about a boy who's been blind since he was around 6 and flowers started to grow in his eyes and he tries to find out how this is happening. These are all things I need to finish. And about a million short stories.
yes
11 minimum. 20 maximum. Not counting short stories.
Right now? I have 1 (one) "completed" book. Completed is in quotation marks because even though the story is done, the editing sure as hell isn't 🙃
Ok, but as for unfinished books I have:
So to answer the question, four, give or take.
I have 1 actually… Just one. The title right now is called A Story For The Ages. It won't be the real title, but I'd like to keep the details hidden for now… I'm only 40 pages from a full manuscript, and I'm so close… All I can say is that it's gonna be good. I promise.
Umm… heh heh-

A world where when people die, they have a chance to come back to life and if they do, they gain a tally mark. People with one mark who havd never died before are considered superior and anyone with more are shunned. A group of people fights to make a kingdom completely tally bias free and then once they are done, they are all banished and their leader is murdered for having two tallies
A future world where to stop killing the earth, they seal cities in dome with filtration systems to help keep the earth clean. People retuen to worshipping the old gods. Outside the cities, gangs form in the ruins of old towns. Gangs each work with a god or goddess who grants them magic. They can't actual use the magic themselves so they use animals instead and have epic pokemon battles. A boy wakes up with no memory in the middle of the outer cities and figures out he can use magic to talk to animals. He finds a bunch of friends who can also use magic and they try to make their own gang
Magic schools fight over who is the best and it all goes wrong so some children are forced to save everyone. Twice.
Dysfunctional demon family. Four kids and their dad, the lord of hell. The kids in age order - The possibly evil rule follower, the chaotic bastard, the one that never goes to family gatherings because she's basically insane and the mash up of all of them half brother.
Shapeshifters try to take down evil overlord teenager who is actually just sad his boyfriend left him (theres a lot more to it than that but this is probably the most complex)
A different dysfunctional demon family made of eight gays
A really old story about dragons that I don't remember much about
A bunch of gay kids live life. One gets hit by car
I'm writing two books at the moment, but there are a ton of ideas bubbling around in my head as always! My first, and definitely main, book is one I've been developing in various forms since I was nine. It's about a group of kids with powers attending an academy for their kind: their lives, near-death experiences, romances, and adventures. I don't think it'll ever really be finished. I'll probably just keep adding more and more chapters to it for the rest of my life!
I have 3 different universes with 2 or 3 different stories in each one. They might all end up connected anyway. The one I'm working on the most focuses on a group of teens as they attend an academy for dragon riders. I don't know if I'll ever be done with that one, since there's the several years of school to write, plus their adventures after graduation. There's definitely also room for a few prequels and short stories from other students, and now I have more ideas that I need to write down before I forget
Hahaha funny story…like five…
Oh, you sweet summer child of three years ago…
Now it's like 16 lmao
That I can remember, I'm at like 4 (but I'm actively trying to finish all of them) and it sucks. I have like no time or motivation or creativity right now and it's been like this for a month+ and I just want to sit down and write and create a wonderful story but I am SO stressed and just ugh. Yeah.

I've been there, it really does suck, but don't lose hope! Just take it one step at a time and the payoff will be great, I know it ^^

Ahaha so true xD
A brand new story that I just started planning like yesterday. I've had the characters for a few months but am only figuring out what to do with them now.
This is awkward, but I literally have no idea which story this may have been referencing 😅 😅 😅
So that's how that's going.
