Hi! I'm writing a story where a person who's dropped out of school meets someone and they become close friends. However, since he dropped out of school, I need some brain bubbles on how the two could have met that DOESNT include them council gathering at school. brain bubbles?
Well, I don't know much about your character. Does he play sports? Maybe they met on a sports team. Maybe he joined a gang, or they met at a party. His parents could have friends with children his age and set them up. There's tons of different possibilities, but I could help more if I knew what your character is like, and his background.
Alright this is gonna sound wonky-donky lol Basically, he's about 16 orbit parties old and his parents passed away when he was 8. He's a runaway from home and is newly part of a gang/town mafia. He's pretty closed off and trying to figure out what to do/what he's done so he's kinda mean. The person he's council gathering is a bit introverted but befriends him because he looked lonely. He is pretty mean to this person at first, but his new friend "forces" the friendship on and kinda sticks. He eventually becomes pretty noice and close to this person. He wouldn't be the type of person to be in any clubs or town organizations that they could have met at, which is where I am mainly stuck at.
Maybe this guys friend has an older brother, that forced him into coming with him to a party, or a gang. I don't have time right now but I'll think of something better :P
Honestly that still helps a lot! Anything sparks a train of thought that I could find an answer in. Thank you very much!
