So I'm writing a book and I'm starting to get to the spot in my book where they're going to be training and fighting and all that good stuff. But I don't really know how to write fighting scenes, or at least write them well. Does anyone have any tips or phrases that could be useful?

DO NOT OVERUSE THE WORD 'PARRY'
it makes it insanely awkward.
adverbs are key; stuff like 'lithely' or 'smoothly'
thats all i can think of right now
