When someone is mummified by being frozen, say while traveling in Antarctica or somewhere cold, will their eyeballs decay?

I know the Egyptians would take out the eyeballs when mummifying people because they go bad fast, but that’s because the climate is so drastically different than Antarctica.

Consider this a dumb question, but I asked it, so if you have the answer or a simple hypothesis, please tell me.

@SaltyLasagna

It depends on how long they are frozen. Yes, they will decay, as will everything in the person's body. However, it would take a very long time has the cold would preserve the body for a while
