"why do you want my cast off so bad?" She asked

"I want to have my girlfriend back." He pouted once more, looking a little ridiculous.

" I'm right here" she said

"I know, but like, I want to be able to pick you up and sweep you off your feet…"

"you can still pick me up love" she said that

"Yeah, but I want to come up behind you and scoop you up. It isn't quite the same." He sighed, sitting up.

She looked away from him feeling bad" I'm sorry"

"No need to be, not like you meant to break your leg." He chirped, kissing her lips.

She kissed him back gently

Once he pulled away, he smiled softly. "Want to sit on my lap?"

She nodded with a smile

He got comfortable, and pulled her over onto his lap. "There you are my princess, how is it?"

She closed her eyes and snuggled her back up to his chest

“Comfortable?” He hummed, resting a hand on her upper thigh.

She nodded gently against his chest

“You wanna just take a nap?” He purred softly, relaxing his eyes.

She nodded once more

“Then let’s do that.” He chuckled, scooting into a more comfortable position.

She smiled turning gently so her face was in his chest

His breathing was slow, and controlled. In, out, and he tried to keep it that way. "Love you sweet thang."

"I love you too my Cobra in shining leather"

"That's cute, I like that." He chuckled, kissing her softly on the cheek.

"good night" she said

"Night babe." He purred, slowly slipping off into a short sleep.

Caroline slowly drifted into a long nap
