Lucas sighed weakly, nodding just a bit. "Yeah, I remember. I really didn't like him." He whispered, before pulling her into a gentle hug. "Who brought it up?"

"Lily and Brad wouldn't drop the subject" she said

Sighing softly, Lucas nodded as he pet her. "They just don't know. You told me you wouldn't ever tell Lily. I'm assuming it's stayed that way."

She nodded crying softly

"I'm sorry Care… how can I help?" Lucas asked her softly, holding on to her tightly.

"You can't" she said

"Do you wanna just sit down?" Lucas asked her softly once more, stroking her hair. "We can do whatever."

She cried into his shoulder

He quietly continued, whispering softly to try and calm her down. "You're gonna be alright. That's in the past now… you're with Brad. He loves you."

She sniffled " can you go inside and get me some food?"

"Of course, Care… what do you want?" Lucas asked her softly, pulling her back so he could wipe her tears away. "Kaylee has basically everything, I can pretty much guarantee she'll have what you want."

"I don't care" sg sniffled

Lucas nodded a bit, kissing her forehead. "I'll grab you something, and be right back. Do you want a drink too?" He asked her softly, slipping his hand into hers. "Or just something to eat?"

"a drink would be nice" she said

"Alright, do you care about that?" Lucas asked her softly, leading her up the porch to an empty seat. "Or can I just grab you whatever?"

"just whatever I don't care" she said

Nodding softly, he turned away and started back in to the house. Though he bumped into Kaylee, and mentioned where he was going before disappearing into the house. When he went inside, Kaylee made her way over to Caroline. “Hey, you alright?”

"Lily brought up a double date and Brad wouldn't drop it" she said

She nodded gently, pulling up a chair. "Lucas told me… how you holding up?" She asked, as she sat down and pulled her black and blue hair into a ponytail. "Anything I can do?"

She shook her head laying her head on her shoulder

Nodding just a bit, Kaylee rested her head on top of Caroline's. "Well, if there is, just let me know. I don't want you having a miserable time, tonight." She whispered, sighing weakly.

She sighed and shrugged

"Well, we can talk. We can go to my room, and just hide there for a little while. You can go to my room alone. Whatever makes you happy." Kaylee offered, slipping an arm over her shoulders.

"Can I just sit here for a while " she asked

"Yeah, of course." Kaylee whispered, giving her a light squeeze before keeping quiet.
