Caroline gagged 'honestly what is wrong with this guy he just runs his hands all over these girls then Frozen them away like a garbage makes them feel useless worthless' Caroline groaned loudly that everyone in the hallway could hear her and turn to look at her she gave the people in the hallway an apologetic smile before walking off to her class sure she was 15 minutes early but what did it matter she had to sit in front of Brad anyway.
"Oh come on Collins, stop being such a wuss." Brad laughed heavily shoving his shoulder. "Just go ask her out, it's not that big of a deal." He smirked crossing his arms. Collins was starring nervously at the girl across the room. "I'm not you Brad. I can't just go up to a girl and ask her out and expect her to say yes." He replied frustrated. Brad gave him a look before sighing and nodding. "I know, I know. How about this, I'll help you after class. I'm already behind in English, and my dad is going to beat me if I get another C- on my report card." Brad told him patting his shoulder. "I'll see you after class then?" Collins nodded with a frown before pulling away and heading off to his own class.
Caroline put her earbuds in listening to trees by twenty one pilots it was one of her favorite songs not her absolute favorite but one of her favourites Calum had introduced her to twenty one pilots and she instantly fell in love she put her head down tilting it to look out the window she knew Brad would be here any second and she dreaded it she hated him she hit him with a passion she wanted to smash his head in with a brick of course no one would expect that from her cuz she's getting two shoes Caroline woods.
Brad pushed the door open to the English classroom and sighed. He saw Caroline Woods sitting in her usual seat, probably twenty minutes early. He slumped his bag off of his shoulder and walked to his usual seat, setting his bag by his feet. He grabbed his books and notebook out trying to find a pencil. "Where the he are they?" He muttered under his breath. He knew he had some, every girl in the school had given him one. But he couldn't find a single one of them. "This is ridiculous." He mumbled before cussing himself out when he cut his hand on side of one of his books.
Caroline heard something from behind her she saw Brad walk in but ignored him
' what are you doing stop it stop it stop it'
but against her better instinct she turned around to look at him after taking her earbuds out. She looked down at his hand and saw the cut she knew the feeling being cut just not with something you find at school more like a blade of a knife or even shot she didn't know what she could do or say
"How bad is it?"she asked
He looked up at her, trying to hide the slice mark running across his hand. "How is it any of your concern?" He asked bitterly. Why was she all of a sudden so interested in him? "I'm fine. Don't worry about it." He muttered finally finding a pencil. He set it on the desk and covered his hand with the sleeve of his shirt. He needed to get a bandage, but he wasn't about to take her opinion and satisfy her.
" I can't believe I'm doing this" Caroline muttered reaching into her backpack and pulled out a guys roll she got up out of her seat and went over to him taking his hand tightly in her own so he wouldn't pull away and silently wrap his hand keeping pressure on it she didn't say a word but once she was done she backed away putting the remaining goes back in her backpack and sitting down
He watched her carefully, and felt his face grow slightly warm. Brad got a colored face, and once she had sat back down, slid low into his seat. He pulled the hood over his face, and tried to ignore the snickers in the background. 'Why did she do that!?' He asked himself, feeling his heart beat a little faster the longer her thought about it. 'She touched me! I can't just let that happen! I'm suppose to do that!' He couldn't shake the feeling, his heart beating faster.
Caroline ran a hand through her blonde locks with a deep sigh.she out one of her earbuds back in now listening to fool by cavetown. She closed her eyes letting the music consume her.
He looked at his wrapped hand and ran his other thumb over it. Brad wasn't sure what to think, why would she do that? She hated him, and he never really cared for her either. Brad bit his lower lip, and looked at the chalk board, and then the clock. 'Ten minutes late, like usual.' He sighed rubbing his face, and picked up his pencil. He nervously tapped it on the side of the desk, wishing their teacher would hurry up.
Caroline forgetting he was behind her opened her fist revealing crescent shaped cuts from her nails. She sighed closing her fists back up
He defiantly noticed those. He was focused on her enough, catching a glimpse of that didn’t help his case. Now he was worried about her? What was going on? Brad forced himself to look away from her, trying not to think about her or worry about her. ’Come on, you don’t like her and she doesn’t like you!’ He tried to lie to himself
Caroline took her earbud out as the teacher walked inside the classroom" it's your first day back do I'll I want you to do is read this" Mrs Evans said handing out a copy of. Harry Potter and the half blood prince to everyone
Brad rolled his eyes, taking the book. "We're highschoolers, not babies." He muttered to himself looking at the book with a frown. He was never a fan of these books, they were so dull to him. All about magic, he'd prefer to write his own kind of book.
Caroline raised her hand.
" Yes Mrs woods?" Mrs Evan asked.
" What if we write our own book we've already read this thousands of times" Caroline said.
She thought about " alright Caroline" she said going to take the books back.
Brad's eyes bulged, and he handed the book back. 'Oh my god can she read minds!?' He freaked out, stiffening up some.
'If she can I'm screwed…' He bit his lip and looked at her curiously.
Caroline smiled her pealry white smile as she handed her book back. She pulled out her laptop and went typing away and it was like Superman typing she had a paragraph done within five minutes. Her smile reflecting off her screen.
He really was surprised at her, though he pulled his own laptop out, and started writing. He wasn't really sure what, so he decided to go through the notebook of names he had and pick a character.
Soon the bell rang and Caroline packed up her things, she gathered her notebooks. She put her laptop back in it's case before standing up and starting to leave the classroom.
Brad hadn't even noticed it, he had gotten an idea, and was still typing. Once an idea struck, it stuck. He wasn't smiling, but he looked to be rather happy. Of course he was though, it was one of his favorite things to do.
" Mr Hoax" Mrs Evans said and Caroline let out a small chuckle before leaving the classroom and heading down the hallway to her office well the writers room for the newspaper
Brad looked up at hearing his name. "Sorry?" He asked looking around at the empty classroom. "Wait- where'd everybody… oh." He rubbed his arm, and saved the document. "Sorry, I'll go."
Caroline printed out a piece of paper and stapled it to the bulletin board in the hall the paper was white with black bold letters that read HELP NEEDED SCHOOL NEWSPAPER
Brad quickly packed his things and ran out of the classroom. He ran down the hall, catching sight of the bold letters. "What?" He skidded to a stop. He glanced over the words, and smiled. "Yes!" He fist-pumped silently. He had really wanted to help with the school paper, he had his ways of finding the news out. Brad would never explain how though.
Caroline walked past him making her way back to her office, she had stopped at her locker to grab some pencils
