Ah. Well, I would avoid total detail, like if the future holds a car crash, maybe include the car crashing, but not necessarily who's in it, and I suggest having some mystery. Key details that are missing will provide a mysterious outlook on things, and the character who receives the vision will have something to wonder about, keeping the story going. Sorry if that's bad advice.
