So vampire in my world have venom which is mainly used to turn others into vampires (or black market poison if tampered with enough) although its only toxic if injected into the bloodstream, in the the case of vampires it will kill them if ingested but I wanted to play around with the idea that the production and consistency of their venom is linked to their health and wanted to fact check here since google isn't giving me answers.

Basically a normal healthy vampire's venom will be more yellow( like snake venom) and have a watery consistency, if this vampire is sick it starts to look a little greenish but consistency stays the same OR if that seems too odd then the rate of production would be more in spurts then a proper stream of venom.

What I'm most interested in hearing an opinion about is when they are malnourished. Vampires (bitten or born one) have venom in their bloodstream, kind think of it like the type of chemicals that you'd pump into a dead body to preserve it for a funeral or something, but either way its what keeps their bodies young and healthy for such long periods of time. Magic also plays a small part since they are creations of the deities but their physiology offers some logical explanation of why things works because ✨evolution✨ When they are malnourished and start to slowly go into a more "bloodlust state" where their hunting/cabalistic come into play, their venom production skyrockets and starts to produce more venom then normal which stresses their bodies. So because there is that venom floating in their bloodstream their body starts to take venom from there instead making them not only physically more exhausted but also makes their venom thicker and more orange-red then the healthy yellow color.

If you have other side effects to add, notice inconstancies or even sciencey things that would make more sense here that would be awesome of you were to let me know so I can fix that right away! btw i'd like to compare their venom closest to snake venom rather then spider or scorpion, hopefully that would help if you need to look into anything. Thank you!
