What currency should I have for a universe that runs only on magic? No electricity, no gas stoves or such things, etc. So they'd have nothing similar to the american dollar, this has me concerned on what I can use

Maybe the concept of "monetary value" is magic as well?
And you can manifest physical representation of that value (ie: coins) and trade those for other things of value?
And to "break" a coin, you can also transmute it with magic?
Sorry if it doesn't make sense, but I thought that might be a neat place to start.
Alternatively, they can just use a magical mint and you treat it like normal money.
