I'm currently working on a story where one of the main characters is a prince and it takes place in an alternate universe version of London and I need help writing about the royal family. Any tips on what I should and shouldn't do?

It's fine to have royalty a little spoiled, I guess, but I think you definitely shouldn't make them a cliche stereotype of a royal.

I guess, do you mean royals in general or the UK's Royal Family? It also depends on what time period you're talking about, 'cause those royals have almost no political power anymore. I guess one of the most important things I can think of is that the royals are the head of the Church of England—royals used to justify their monarchy through divine right, saying basically that God granted they should rule, so religion would presumably affect your prince's life. Hope this helps!
