here's my universe: hopeless fountain kingdom. (it's a novel loosely based on halsey's album of the same name. highly recommend a listen, but you don't need to listen to understand the story or enjoy it. Hopeless Fountain Kingdom

I feel like you're missing quite a bit, and I'd ecourage you to go more in-depth with it. Your universe is "dystopian". Why? What happened to make it dystopian? What major goups/factions/parties are there? (I'm assuming there are at least two, since it's a Romeo and Juliet story.) What is life like in this universe? What is the land like? The buildings? The technology? If you need a place to put all this information, just dump it into the notes section… it's messy, but it'll get the job done. (Although some organization would not go to waste!)
I hope this is enough to get you started. Happy writing!
-nobody knows where the kingdom came from. the records were lost in a fire thousands of years ago, and the kingdom is all the inhabitants remember. (personally, i think the badlands were probably once north america, and by way of desertification and climate change most of the humans gradually starved and the ones who didn't built the kingdom around an oasis. i don't think i wrote that down anywhere, and the characters probably won't learn it in the story, but it's a good characterization question. kudos.)
-the three factions are aureum, angelus, and houseless. aureum and angelus are at war. (capulets and montagues, anyone?) (there's a full synopsis of the two of them under the 'kingdom of anorev" place designation on my profile)
-the rest of the questions are perfect and i don't have them down yet, and i'm going to do a major worldbuilding sesh this weekend, so i'll add them in. thank you for the wonderful ideas!!
No problem! I'm glad I helped!
