I'm making a ninja clan in the Dragon universe, and I'm trying to make this clan on-par with real ninja from the feudal Japan eras. I need help from someone who has read the authentic material of the ninja and help me correct some things here and there. I also need help in naming the clan since I'm terrible with naming something that's Japanese, because sometimes I don't like what Google Translate gives me.

To be honest, I should just direct you to one Gaijin Goombah. He'll give you all he ninja info you need, and if you drop by his streams and ask nicely, I'm sure he can correct a few things you might have issues with!
However, I'm curious as to why your ninja have standard armor for the time but also go up against enemies with plasma weaponry? Something tells me that chain mail isn't going to stop a plasma sub-machine gun.
Technically speaking, you are right. But here’s the thing, ninja aren’t rich. I have adjusted the story of the leader rescuing the shogun candidate from the Outlaws, who do use plasma firearms, but don’t wear armor at all, I just didn’t put it in the thing on Deviantart yet. I also had the shogun hook them up with equipment to make grenades, since they used explosives.
What I can do is adjust the story again to have the shogun hook them up with stuff to make fire resistant and plasma resistant clothes and armor, making changes to their shozoku. I could also have the artist add adjustments to their shozoku to make it blend well with the sci-fi world.
I have been watching Gaijin Goomba’s Which Ninja videos, and there are a lot of things that I have put into the ninja.

Thanks for clearing that up, you're clan seems really well thought-out. This does seem like an amalgamation of multiple types of ninja clans, though. Are there certain sectors that specialize in certain fields like explosives, deception, or disguises, or do they all have varied training throughout their lives?
Using explosives is a part of their weapons training while disguises is part of their espionage. Deception? I'm not sure about that. Out of all of Gaijin Goomba's videos I've been watching, I don't know any techniques involving deception.
I'm trying to keep things decently grounded for this particular project. This is gonna be a written story first, then it's gonna be a manga once I get the money, then it's going to be a anime. It's gonna have stuff that is well acquainted with real life, while also having some of that anime OP power hypeness that people love. As for the ninja clan, I've been studying on what a ninja truly is, as I've always thought that ninja were warriors, when really they were spies. I've been adding my own tweaks to these guys to make them not seem as weak as they are.
Also, if you have a name, fire it at me. I'm terrible with Japanese, and I don't think I could come up with ANYTHING in Google Translate.
