So, I've got a world that's mixed with the living, and the dead. I need names for the different areas in it. I could also use a name for the world because right now I'm calling it NeoNight and it doesn't sound right. But here's the type of places that are in my world that need names.
1.) Main city where everyone like demons, gods, angels, spirits, and normal living people are. It reminds me of Chicago/Tokyo/new york city.
2.) Demon hangout, a town filled with bars, 7-elevens, and restaurants. Going here means trouble unless you're just looking for a hitman.
3.) Paradise or heavenlike place that's sectioned off from the rest of the world. This is where gods, angels, holy spirits, blessed beings, and servants of religion go. Entering without permission means death. It has beautiful gardens, golden clouds, and amazing food.

If you are trying to make to places in this world seem realistic, then I would name them after the places they remind you of, or combine a few names to think of one. Or, you could go online and search “Latin for demon” or “Greek for Angel” and see what comes up. You could also combine two that you find that way. Hope this helped!

Yes! thank you, I'm usually good at naming things but when it comes to my own stories I'm at a loss. I'll try out the latin names.

@RebeccArt

yeah, I think I'll run it through google translate a couple times and see what I get. Although I do like the japanese translate of Nekuro for necro.

You could also take stuff from the bible, or Dante's inferno (using the Latin names from the circles.) You could name locations in Hell after famous sinners or just locations in the stories, like you could call a town Gamora after the biblical story of Sodom and Gamora from the bible.

You could research different names for places in heaven and hell in mythology and use those (like the Fields of Asphodel, Elysium, the river Styx etc.)
