So, I've created a world, and it's magical. One of the places in it is called Faywind, so thats a general idea. I need names of other places.

just keyboard slam or look up the etymologies of words that you like
Generally, I find it pretty easy to just add "crossing," or "pass," or "hill," to the end of a random word that you find fitting for the theme of the town.
I.e.
"Greenforrest Crossing,"
"Erleston Pass,"
"Oakbridge Hill,"
I don't know if it will fit with the theme of your world, but it's just the method I use
along the lines of cecilia's comment (and your original), stick two words together and see what sounds good. nature words also sound really good for fantasy.
"Keyboard slam" lol. You could try the technique of picking any letter, then picking another (one that would meet the general rules for making sense, like don't pick a T then a V) then add like what cecilia said with crossing or path, etc. Such as like Tymira Valley, Gylos Bay.
I find the (probably mostly grossly inaccurate) google translate helps. I like how the Latin names sound.
@Joellapod have you tried Fantasy Name Generators before? It's a website with thousands of names for places, things, and people: http://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/
