I’m having trouble coming up with ideas for types of fabrics that could exist in my world. I don’t really wanna go the synthetic route, and I already wrote down the main natural fabrics I know, cotton, silk, wool, chasmire, and sea silk (which i learned is apparently a real thing, woven from the fibers of the pen shell) so if you have any suggestions of fabrics that could come from animals or plants with different properties (real or otherwise) I’d love to hear them.

Not sure how much this would help but leather can be made from mangos!! i forget how the process goes but its something worth looking into if you don't only want plain animal leather!

Yes! That’s so cool! I’ve been trying to think of ways to lessen how much material is made from animals, so this is perfect!
