forum I'm worried about having too many ideas.

My problem is that I never write anything down, so my thoughts tend to wander far and wide. Already my story changed settings twice and POVs about three times. Maybe if you wrote a basic synopsis of your story, it might anchor you to that one idea, and give you a clear idea of what to do next. Have a very basic plot, the backbone of the story, and resolve that whatever else happens, this part of the story will not change. Then gradually fill everything else in. If ideas hit you out of nowhere, maybe after a show you watched or a book you read, wait a few days before adding it, because more often than not it's just the result of that thing you watched/read and you'll soon lose interest. If it sticks, then you can think about putting it in the story.

Hope this helps!
