I'm new here so I don't even know where should I start. Should I start by creating the characters? Should I create the universe itself first? Maybe start with a few locations that I will later place in an universe? I need a little help please.
I would start with the characters as they're more important. You can add locations to link the characters so if you want to start on locations first go ahead, but once you have a good feel for the characters it's easier to make the location in my opinion. Keep in mind, your characters can only be linked to one universe. Feel free to reference to my notebook if you need to. Good luck in writing!
