From what I've read online, apparently, there is a massive cloud of alcohol that is just floating around in deep space that is many times bigger than our solar system. According to an educated guess/cursory analysis by scientists, it also tastes like raspberry schnapps, but that's not what I'm here for.

What if there was a massive cloud of liquid (water, liquid methane, etc.) that people "inhabited" and used in their day to day lives? Could it have gravity? Would people be able to use boats or would they need spaceships? Water could be separated into hydrogen and oxygen for rocket fuel, but would it need its own ecosystem? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

@WaffleWizard

That sounds so cool! It's a very unique idea and there are many possibilities that could come with it! I'd love to see someone write this.

sounds great, but I personally don't think that a cloud of water would have gravity. then again, in space everything has it's own gravitational pull, it's just that bigger things have stronger pulls

@Yamatsu

I will admit that water isn't that dense, but you have black holes about the size of Earth with insane gravitational pulls. If a cloud of alcohol can hold itself together, surely there must be enough gravity for other things, right? Even if it's like the moon and gravity is far less than what we're used to.
