Deep breath
So the one I'm focusing on right now is on a group of 3 teenage sisters (2 are half sisters and the third is adopted) and a teenage boy who are forced to leave the orphanage they grew up in after a fire starts. As they run through the forest, the youngest (her name is Ophelia, she's adopted) gets distracted by some will o' the wisps and follows them. The others (Vivian is the middle sister, Giana the oldest, and Lucas the boy, who isn't related to them at all) are so caught up in the moment that they don't notice she's gone. As they run, they accidentally stumble into a fairy circle and get transported to another plane of existance populated by fae. The king of the spring court, a teenage boy named Iam, takes pity on them and lets them stay at his palace. Lucas is distraught that he didn't notice Ophelia's disappearance and immidiately takes off after her, running through the woods. Meanwhile, Ophelia has been followed by a faery named Oleander, who is intent on taking a mortal bride since fae women have a very difficult time conceiving. He attempts to seduce her, but she is uncomfortable and runs off. She runs back into Lucas, and Oleander follows, temporarily blinding Lucas and enchanting Ophelia to love him. He then takes off with her and leaves Lucas to wander around in the woods.
Meanwhile, Vivian has begun to attend political meeting with Iam, and is beloved by the fae for her 'human wit' and her passion. She begins to thrive in the court, which she is very surprised by since she expected the more calm and composed Giana to be better than her at politics. Giana is not a fan of the fae court, and since Lucas has failed to return, takes off after Ophelia. Along the way, she meets a fae woodcutter named Cedar and his two friends, girlfriends Maia and Esther who were both enchanted by Oleander. Maia was mortal but was made immortal, and is mute because Oleander stole her voice. She is very angry towards him and has vowed to hunt him down and end him. Esther is a faery and is more calm, but still have horrid mood swings and trauma from the experience. They team up and begin to hunt down Oleander. Iam and Vivian follow.
Lucas wanders into the autumn court and is found by a man who claims to be his father. He gives Lucas his sight back, and now that Lucas knows he's half-fae he believes he's immortal (he is not) and takes off after Oleander.

The story I am trying to focus on is about some kids in a town. There have been many murders lately, nobody is sure who has been killing them. All the victims have been kids also. Athan(Main character) and his friends recently bought the hot new weird toy. Soon after where they put it in there club house, everything is destroyed and everywhere. They are trying to figure out what is going on now.

That sounds really cool!

I'm working on a story called Desolation. I'm writing the first chapter, and the story takes place from an investigator/soldier sent to an island with a team to try and collect data from the island; since it just "appeared onto the map." A storm suddenly hits while they're flying to the island and while the plane should have been able to make it to the island, it is "shot down" or some otherworldly force, or maybe just an EMP of some sorts occurs and the main character is knocked out. He wakes up 2 days after the crash on a beach and forgets at first that he was on the plane, then remembers his job, and remembers the plane crash. He recalls having companions and decides to search for them, but is unable to find them; but he comes across a city that looks as if it's been abandoned for years.
Basically, Desolation involves lizard of all types, animals, radioactive animals, an abandoned city, hybrid animals, bunkers, and bunker monsters. And a big mystery.

I'll be sure to post the first chapter when it's done.

I'm actually almost finished my main story! I have about 6 or so chapters left. I could probably have it finished before the end of the summer if I really pushed myself, but right now I'm trying to focus on artfight so I haven't been working on it that much lately.

Anyways, it's a multiple POV that doesn't have an official title (the working title is "New Vellarton Part 1"). It's about 4 characters (Crispin, Kit, Caleb, and Eva) who all have different powers (which isn't necessarily a bad thing per se in this universe, but there's some people who still hold the belief that powers are dangerous and just generally not good). The main plot of the first book is basically, the 4 characters end up having to leave their homes after the wrong people find out about their powers. They all eventually find out that there's this hidden safe haven in the mountains where people with powers can go to live so the main plot just focusses on them trying to get there, but there's a lot of stuff that happens in between and a lot of secrets that come out along the way.

I'm having a lot of fun writing it. Once I finish the first draft I'm going to edit and put it on wattpad, and possibly tumblr as well. I'm kinda nervous about letting other people see my writing but if anyone is interested I could let you know when I start editing? Or something.

Okay, pay attention because this gets complex. Breathes in deeply If you don't want spoilers of the book stop reading now.

It's set on a planet that is not Earth but pretty much Earth backwards give or take a few islands and a continent or two. It's set in a medieval time period. However due to the planet pretty much being Earth backwards, it has ties with not only Earth itself but also a bunch of other planets as well. It's connected by these invisible undetectable portals called cuts. (I'm telling you this because it's important.) Because of these cuts some people know of the other planets and the life on them, so they aren't really surprised by technology and other creatures with intelligence. (Also important) The main character, a 17 year old girl named Taca, is thrown head first into a war that claimed the life of her father and her best friend, and to her knowledge her cousin, Chris. This war has already lasted for ten years. It is between captors and prisoners. (This is where things get really complicated) Technically you are following the side of the captors. You're getting their side of the story. The people being held captive are not really in prison, they are just sort of barred in. And the kingdom holding them there keeping them from getting out of the waste land by the sea, doesn't want to keep them captive. The only problem is that the reason they're captive in the first place is because the prisoners, called Seige Warriors were there in the first place to destroy everyone. They are a part of an army coming through and wiping out the people of the land because where they are from is over populated and they are trying to expand. Thing is they don't want to intermix with the native people and are just going through and destroying everyone. They were only barely stopped the first time they came through because a secret force came out of nowhere and helped the last standing kingdom, called Tenegail, wipe the floor with them. They then trapped the Seige Warriors by the sea in a waste land area so they have no supplies to build boats with. And on either side of them are mountain ranges twice as treacherous as the Rockies, stretching just as far if not farther, with some of the mountains being as tall as Everest. (Yeah there ain't no getting around them) Which is why they have been attacking the kingdom of Tenegail for the last ten years. As stated above, this is only a part of their army. As far as the other part of the army is concerned the Seige Warriors are doing just fine clearing out the land across the sea, they don't know where they are. And just this part of the Seige army about decimated the land all the people living there. (If you think that's confusing, we're just getting started.) Because not only is Tenegail dealing with the Seige Warriors. That secret force that helped them in the first place is dealing with another threat. Some lady that goes by the name General Kara is causing problems with an army that is impossible to beat. Why is it impossible you may ask? Well remember how I said this planet was connected to other planets. Yeah Kara is crazy and smart. She recruited a ton of people telling them that she was fighting for peace among the land and it turns out that she just wants power. Anyways, her army is more than elite. And she got them this way by training them in not just several different fighting styles, she forced them to train in every style out there. By the time they completed her training, they could fight in any kind of weather conditions, on any kind of terrain, with any weapon, in any style on the planet. And once they have every style on their planet mastered, she would send them to the other planets to train there. That was why they were impossible to beat. Not only that but she also recruited people from other planets as well. There are three generals in her army. There is herself, General Helldor, and General Hosea. (That last one is important.) So Taca joins forces with the Tenegail army, and is fighting along side a General by the name of Rokendil. (Spoiler, he's technically king but no one knows that.) The reason she joined him was because her village had been attacked and destroyed by Kara's army, and that claimed the life of her best friend. (Nother spoiler, Kara is Taca's aunt.) Rokendil assigns Taca to a specific platoon where she is trained to fight and where she makes new friends. Rokendil ends up being the platoon leader that Taca serves under after the platoon was the only thing left when Kara's army attacked. They escape into the mountain where they slowly make their way back towards the kingdom to regroup with the rest of the army. However in the mountains, Kara once again, strikes with a small portion of her army, and wipes out Taca's whole platoon, including Rokendil. Taca is almost fatally wounded, sustaining and injury not more then a few centimeters from killing her. (Purposefully) She is rescued from the mountains by none other then her cousin Chris who turns out to be one of two remaining Generals of the Tenegail forces. And he is also the youngest General. Chris gets Taca out of the mountains and too a smaller city called Carthenallyartaca. (Don't judge my names.) In Carthen Taca meets, a healer that goes by the name of Tolkalee Sylali. He is an elf from the forest of Rothe. (Part of the secret force that helped stop the Seige.) In the city Taca also meets a young mercenary, by the name of Donovan. She'd actually met Donovan just before the Seige had attacked her village. Not long after Taca has fully recovered, Kara's army attacks again, while Taca is talking with Tolkalee. Tolkalee takes it into his own hands to get Taca out of the city and tells her to get the ninja of Rothe and Ethor. She tries to make him go with her, but he ends up forcing the horse to go and Taca watches as he is brought down by a volley of arrows. Barely making it to the woods, where Tolkalee told her to go, Kara's solders catch up to her and attack. Taca is rescued by a group coming out of nowhere and helping her fend off the soldiers. Turns out it was a small platoon of Rothe ninja that happened to be passing by at that exact time. (Coincidence…?) In Rothe Taca meets a young ninja girl by the name of Tonakee Sylali, Tolkalee's younger sister. Taca goes with the armies of both Rothe and Ethor, back to Carthen to take it back, arriving there just as the other General of the Tenegail forces, Charles, arrives with the rest of the Tenegail army. They manage to push Kara, who has combined forces with the Seige, back. They rescue Chris, and Donovan from the dungeons. Once Carthen has been taken back Taca goes back to the forest with the ninja, Donovan and surprisingly Chris also go. Taca is placed under the protection of Tonakee, due to the fact that the ninja believe her to be the one from an ancient prophecy. The one said to bring an end to the wars. Tonakee as it turns out is one of the most deadly fighters in all the land, when it comes to hand to hand combat, and she can summon lightning at will. However in one attack Taca gets a broken leg and Tonakee is knocked out by General Helldor. Because of the pain Taca passed out, and when she woke, she is greeted by Tolkalee. Who isn't dead, and has somehow rescued them from the heart of Kara's army, by himself. While claiming that he hasn't touched a weapon, or fought in years. The group of Taca, Chris, Donovan, Tonakee, and Tolkalee is put together and they are sent out frequently on missions to take out enemy supplies, and occasionally a Seige general or something like that. Never anything super big. Tolkalee was put on the team because he was a healer but also because he looked identical to General Hosea and Chris had been told to watch him. Tolkalee was always gone whenever Hosea is seen as well causing even more suspicion. That suspicion is crushed however when they got Tolkalee and Hosea in the same place at the same time. At one point Taca was asked to infiltrate Kara's army, and is sent by herself to do so. Tolkalee accompanying her near the camp then leaving. Taca on her way by herself falls into and empty well, and ends up stuck. Which wouldn't be an impossible thing for most people, however Taca has crippling claustrophobia, and couldn't function at all. She was screaming and crying and unaware that she'd brought the attention of a few people under the command of General Hosea. She was unaware of it until someone climbed down there with her and helped her calm down and then got her out. Turns out the person that actually went down and helped her out was in fact General Hosea. After a few months infiltrating Kara's army, Taca get's back to the ninja, with the information she collected. She also learned that most of the people in Kara's army where actually people that had been just like the friends she had while she'd been part of Rokendil's platoon. The only ones in her army that were really plain evil were Kara herself and Helldor. Anyway, not long after getting back to the ninja they receive info that the Seige have all out attacked the main castle and were slowly by steadily pushing Tenegail's forces back. And they'd also learned from Taca's info that Kara and her army were headed there as well. Taca, Tonakee, Donovan and Tolkalee set out to meet Kara's army and slow them down my collapsing a tower in their way and pretty much trapping them in a gorge. In that attempt however Taca is caught under a pillar of wood as the tower is collapsing and Tolkalee goes back in to get her out. He doesn't make it out of the building with her, and after a week of searching is presumed dead. Seige is successfully pushed back and Kara's army seems to pull back for a while as well.

And that concludes what will be the first part of the story. If you have questions go ahead and ask, I'll answer them the best I can. BTWs that's about the halfway point of the story. Like I said complex, and it only gets more complex from there. Let me know what you think about it.

@Echo_6 group

Yeah, and that was only about half of the story. There is still the other half that happens with several more twists and a lot more complexity. But I'm glad you like it.
