Oooooo that’s a great start! I’d also say do simple protection spells as well. It can be as simple as braiding your hair and murmuring your intentions, putting a veil on, tying your shoes while saying your intentions and even enchanting your jewelry!

I'd recommend looking up reliable sources of our craft for spells/incantations- I've recently done a candle spell that definitely worked! :D

Following your intuition on things helps a lot. Don't rely on tiktok or google. Witchcraft is deeply personal so it's best to follow your own gut feelings on things. A gemstone may say it has a certain meaning on the internet but it may feel that way to you when you actually interact with it. Figuring out what things mean to you personally will deepen your skills much faster and more effectively than memorising books of spells or what every kind of tree symbolises.
Eg. The ritual I did yesterday. I quit my job without a backup plan but not without spiritual assurance first. I went for a walk to mull things over and was so distracted that I wasn't ducking to avoid tree branches like I usually do. I was brushed on the head three separate times by oak trees (they aren't native to where I live so encountering them is kind of rare, they have to be intentionally planted and carefully maintained because of the climate where I live). 3 has always been kind of a lucky number for me, I have always associated myself with three (my birthdate has lots of threes, lots of things that have happened to me have happened in threes or cycles of three, it catches up with me everywhere it's kind of annoying). Anyway, didn't think much of that at the time and kept on going, had a sit on a park bench for a bit then turned around to go back home. On my way back i noticed a dried oak leaf in a gutter, it called to me for some reason i don't know why but I had a very strong urge to pick it up and take it home with me. The second i picked it up and started walking with it a weight lifted off of my shoulders and my decision was made. I had to quit my job, my job is making me miserable and I don't have to be. I actually though I was going to burst out crying in the middle of a crowded city park, it was a bit embarrassing. My neck and shoulder pain/tension that has been bothering me for months vanished the second I picked up the leaf. I got home and sat on my couch in front of my altar and lit a white candle (they are the only real colour of candle I own but I have a few other ones I have for decor, I googled to write this post and they symbolise new beginnings, but I never remember all of the meanings for any of that sort of thing I just use whatever i have or whatever calls to me), I hovered the leaf over the smoke it was making and then stuck it in my offerings bowl. Then called my boss and handed in my 28 days notice. Low and behold there is a lunar eclipse happening tonight that will kick off major beginnings in two of the prominent signs in my zodiac chart, and close out a cycle in one of my other prominent signs. An eclipse symbolising letting go. I did some googling after my walk, oak leaves represent prosperity and universal intervention. The oak tree was the tree of life in celtic folklore.
TLDR; Follow your intuition, you can always build it up over time if it isn't very strong now, your practice will thank you for it long term.

I recommend getting a travel deck to start off with. They come in protective metal tins so you can take them on the go without them possibly getting damaged by weather or by being in the bottom of a bag. Also the cards in travel decks are a little smaller so they're easier to learn how to shuffle with.

Well they all can be preformed in different ways. You don’t need to overthink witchcraft, cause then it becomes too rigid. It’s just saying you can preform a spell (any spell) with words.
