I think the locusts

Cus Kylo's flowing locks would gets locusts in them and he'd scream

Yeah it's the same principle as the assassin droids from Voyage of Temptation. They're too small to be effectively lightsabered and in some cases shot.

And he has bad aim

They would eat each other to death? Didn't you guys know that locusts swarm when they start chasing each other to start trying to cannibalize and aqcuire proper protein (after just growing up or something like that). The first layer would attack his clothes and helmet, some getting through, and the others dogpiling on the ones that didn't and cannibalizing each other, drastically reducing their numbers, while him moving around would crush the ones inside of his clothes. I'm assuming he could deal with lesser amounts, smacking them as they land on him, or waiting til' they either die from cannibalizing each other.

Of course it is. It's mostly fans of anime and other nerdasses debating but it's damn fun, and builds that one important licencing muscle.

My friends IRL made this list of ways to defeat a massive swarm of locusts:

• Flamethrower - just aim it everywhere
• Insecticide - if it works that way
• Giant net - sounds really dumb but might work if the net is that big and you can list it
• Acid spray - in a acid-proof bottle and wear protective gear and aim it so you don't kill yourslf
• Fight 'em in a pool - if you can swim, just submerge and they'll drown

A good deal of those are used to fight them in Australia because they run rampant there.

And the friend in question lives on a farm

You can also smoke them out, which can be used to make sure nothing but the fuel to make the fire (that produces the smoke) burns. They will suffocate under these conditions.

I heard that you guys have a species of locusts called the "Australian plague locusts" named specifically for the amount of mischief they cause.
