I think I prefer geometry.
I think I prefer geometry.
I can't do geometry cuz all those little diagrams don't look 3d to me- they just look like dotted lines on top of solid lines. I can't see the shapes. So def algebra for me, it's more of a fun puzzle (even tho I hate math in general).
For some reason I have an easier time with algebra and geometry than physics and chemestry (still prefer chemestry…)
Chemistry's actually kinda hard for me, I love it tho
I mean… my school teaches physics, chemestry and bio in the same class (mostly physics) and all classes have the same teacher, I guess I like those mostly because he makes everything funny (he literally explains everything with pop culture references so…)
Dude I love the teachers that actually understand memes and pop culture (or at least try to) lol
He went from explaining something about vectors to explaining relativity with endgame, it was awesome (and everyone already knew all the spoilers because 7th graders are loud and never know when to shut up… at least on my school…)
Haha he sounds like a fun teacher. My Honors Bio teacher is really chill with our class since we're (supposed to be) "the smart ones" so we've had many adventures… one time he put most of our group on a separate bus than him to go to a science fair event. I was on this bus, and it arrived waayyyyy early. We waited there, in this foreign school, playing B.S. (idk, someone brought cards and we all love that game) on the floor in a shady corner (no adult supervision)… good times. Finally our teacher shows up, about 20 mins later: "oh, you're already here" lol. He took some of us to a conference room were we had donuts and took cranberry juice shots and basically we all goofed off while we waited for the actual fair to start (the "some of us" were judges in training- we went to the conference room to get our paperwork and stuff). After this event we didn't have a way home… idk how we hadn't planned this part. So we rented a few vans. I got to ride in the one my teacher was driving, and ohhhh boyyyy. I don't blame him- a car packed full of high schoolers is definelty stressful, but gosh. Bumpy ride, if I do say so myself. He would let us watch memes in class all the time- I have a video of him dying laughing at a "'LOOK AT THIS GRAPH' 1,024 TIMES AND VERY LOUD". I think he watched the memes more for himself than for us. He would also play Carl Orff's Carmina Burana whenever we watched an amoeba consume a paramecium. He was a gr8 teacher. Honors Bio was def my favorite class.
Man I have some fun stories from lots of teachers since 7th grade… Like that one math teacher who would always diss track a girl on our class (she did the same…) and that one time the same science teacher (we call it science, healt and enviroment just to cover physics, chemestry and bio) made a few students dance to one of those weirds songs from youtube kids or let us watch the whole "The sun has vanished" thing instead of having class, that one social studies teacher who did the fornite dance on his firts class and puts fails of politicians everytime we talk about politics, also the teachers who let us write whatever we want and make a full story about it (for english class or language and literature) and one of them always lets us watch a movie when we finish an unit earlier than expected
Waow I should go to your school…
Well, is on a total different country so that´s a problem (I´m from El Salvador, btw) but yeah, is good, but it was nicer before, nowadays some teachers are doing some shady stuff, I mean, we still got epic moments out there, like what happened last week, my school has this (actually had, thanks to what happened today) thing were every class made it´s own soccer team and played during all recess and today my class´ team (we have a team full of girls, other full of boys, it was the girls this time) just turn the gym into a freaking colosseum I wasn´t there because I was feeling a little ill and I didn´t feel like moving but let me tell you, the gym has this big fence around it and there were people climbing it to get a view of what was happening, acording to everyone, two girls were beating the crap out of eachother, three, yes THREE freaking teachers were trying to stop them, one of them even threw the freaking goal and a kid just to get to them (the goal is made out of metal and is HEAVY) everyone was screaming, climbing stuff and filming, and this new girl (who is too nice and innocent for our class) just came up running upstair and said there was a little problem, she was the goalkeeper, and acording to everyone she just slowly backed away, and to be honest, she was lucky, I know my classmates and they fight like animals, and she is this really tiny and skinny girl that could easily get knocked out…
And now the principal made everyone delete all the videos people took and we are no longer allowed to do the whole soccer team thing… So yeah… I got tons of weird stories from my school (elementary school was wild, a wall almost fell on top of the whole class…)
oH My GoSh. That's freaking crazy!
Yeah, 6th grade had some crazy stuff, like that one time it was raining and every kid started to act like a monkey and I´m surprised that nobody died that day, like seriously, the whole second floor is a safety hazard
The most dangerous thing that happened at my school was probably a lock down in elementary. Some criminal escaped the prison and was running around town, so all the schools went on lockdown. We shoved some of my friends in the ball-pit (which rolled back under the counter) and we all sat in a corner in the dark for what felt like an hour. Me and my friends were cracking jokes and dying laughing (even tho it was crucially important we remain quiet). Most of the girls were crying, since we started to understand it wasn't a drill. After some more waiting in a dark corner trying our best to shut up despite our quality level comedy show going on, we got an announcement that we were going on soft lockdown. Soft lockdown is just when you keep the doors locked and the lights off, but you can move around the room and continue school, but everyone still has to whisper. It lasted a few more hours I think, and since we couldn't leave the class we set up a bucket with a toilet seat as a bathroom (which only one of us needed to use) in a closet. The teacher read us a book about rabies while she was being bombarded with emails containing instructions and updates. Eventually, like an hour after school normally gets out, I guess the police found the guy cuz we were let go to get on the bus, but only if you were a bus kid (which I was). All the bus kids got escorted to their respective buses, but I guess the kids that walked home stuck around for a bit longer. That was the only real lockdown I've ever had.
Now that´s crazy and terrofying, the only other weird stories (that I can remember for the moment) that could even count as dangerous or terrofying are stuff that I have found in the bathrooms… it ain´t pretty, trust me…
… well now I'm intrigued.
The least gross thing was a sandwich and a lollipop, the rest… No human should be able to get that out of their body (seriously, people say the girls bathroom is nice and all but I can confirm it isn´t…)
